Merry go rounds are a whole lot safer!!

“Here we are…” Nick said looking up at the huge Amusement Park by the ocean.
“Awesome!” Cassidy said peering out of the window.
“Hey you think that’s Matt?!” Becca asked as she saw Kirstie walk over to a tanned guy with blond hair.
“He’s cute…” Cassidy grinned.
“Hey!” Nick pouted.
“No where near as ‘sexy’ as you though…” Cassidy covered.
“Well that’s ok then…” Nick grinned.
“Get a room…” Kevin laughed at Nick and Cassidy.
“Awww…..then you’d be all alone Kevvy Kev…” Nick teased.
“Guys! Can we please put the personal abuse on hold for two seconds!” Becca rolled her eyes as they lined up to get in.

“Have you been here before Emma?” AJ made conversation.
“Uhhh…yeah once, when we first came over from Australia..” Emma replied smiling.
“Awesome…..it’s gonna be a very fun day…” AJ rubbed his hands together.
“You can bet on it…” Emma grinned.

“And they have dolphins too! And sharks! But they’re in a tank and stuff…” Nick told Cassidy excitedly.
“Cool…..” Cassidy laughed at Nick’s enthusiasm. He was like a little kid when it came to all things in the water.
“I’ve swam with dolphins…” Nick told Cassidy.
“Really? How cool! There were wild one’s near where we lived in Australia, but I never swam with them…” Cassidy replied.
“It was the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life…..” Nick nodded.
“Awww….I wanna swim with dolphins…that would be so amazing…” Cassidy sighed.
“What’s this…?” Becca and Brian walked over to Nick and Cassidy.
“Nick’s swam with dolphins!!” Cassidy whined to Becca.
Brian laughed. “Yeah we all did….it was so amazing..”
“Awww…..I love dolphins so much!” Becca smiled.

“NEXT…..” A large burly guy called.
“Ok that’s us!” Kirstie said excitedly as everyone paid and went through the large gates.

“Oh sorry guys….this is Matt…” Kirstie introduced the blonde guy who had his arms around her waist.
“Matt this is my cousin Cassidy, and the birthday girl Becca! You know Emma…..and ummm well these are the Backstreet Boys…Kevin, Howie, AJ, Nick and Brian.”
Everyone exchanged ‘hellos’ and ‘nice to meet you’s.’
“Ummm guys aren’t you missing something??” Cassidy looked around at the guys.
“Oh shit….almost forgot, thanks Cassidy..” Howie said retrieving a pair of glasses and a baseball cap from Cassidy’s bag.
“You know Kevin, you would look really hot with a pair of orange sunnies…..” Cassidy grinned.
“Yeah….” Becca nodded in agreement.
“What?!” Nick and Brian looked at the girls.
“What! I just made a comment, that guys with dark hair look hot with orange sunnies!” Cassidy laughed at Nick and Brian’s jealousy.
Becca laughed, “Ok so where are we going first?!”
“I wanna see the sharks!” Nick said excitedly, forgetting Cassidy’s comment.
“Roller coaster!” AJ and Emma said at the same time then laughed.
“Water slides!” Becca grinned at Brian.
“Everyone brought their togs (bathers) didn’t they?” Kirstie asked and everyone nodded.
“Ok well why don’t we split up and meet back here say in a couple of hours?” Kevin suggested.
“Good idea…lets go!” Nick said dragging Cassidy off laughing.

“You wanna go to the water slides first Becca?” Brian asked as they walked hand in hand around the colourful park.
“Umm….yeah ok!” Becca smiled.
“Ok….” Brian replied.
“You ok Bri?” Becca asked concerned.
“Yeah….why?” Brian answered.
“I don’t know….you seem kind of…distracted..” Becca said.
“Nah I’m ok….honest..” Brian gave Becca one of his killer smiles.
“Well….I’ll make it all better tonight…” Becca leaned up and whispered.
Brian froze. “Becca are you sure?” He studied her intently.
“Brian, I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life…” She smiled and kissed his cheek before walking into the girl’s changeroom.
Brian was smiling so hard he thought his face would crack. People that walked past were now giving him strange looks because he was just standing on his own with this goofy grin on his face. He snapped out of it and hurried into the guy’s changeroom.

“You’re not wimping out on me are you now Emma???” AJ asked as he and Emma stood watching the one of the world’s biggest, fastest roller coasters in action.
“NO! It’s just….it’s so big….” Emma said timidly.
“Awww….it’ll be fun…” AJ grinned as he watched the three consecutive loop-the-loops.
Emma’s face paled. “I’m gonna die….”
AJ laughed. “Well what do you want to go on??”
“Well….” Emma grinned.

Nick splashed Cassidy as they walked past an open-air dolphin tank.
“Quit it!” Cassidy laughed.
“Awww…” Nick pouted.
“I’ll push you in and then you won’t be laughing!” Cassidy warned.
“You wouldn’t….” Nick grinned.
“Oh wouldn’t I!” Cassidy said and started chasing Nick around the tank.

Kevin and Howie made their way over to some of the sideshow alleys.
“So Howie…Julie couldn’t make it?” Kevin asked casually.
“Ummm not exactly man…..” Howie said quietly.
“What happened?! You guys were great together….” Kevin said stopping.
“That’s what I thought too…” Howie said, confused about the situation himself.
“Come on lets go have some fun!” Kevin said trying to cheer Howie up.
“ok….” Howie half smiled.

“Now isn’t this better….” Emma laughed from her plastic horse on the merry-go-round.
“I can’t believe I’m doing this! I haven’t been on a merry-go-round since I was like, 10!” AJ laughed from his horse next to Emma’s.
“See, nice…safe, good music…” Emma laughed at the corny tune coming from the ride.
“Oh yeah…..much better…” AJ laughed.

Becca was waiting outside the guy’s changeroom when Brian appeared. And when he did, she burst out laughing.
“What?!” Brian looked down at his shorts self-consciously.
“Brian…even Mafia members take off their hats and sunglasses when they go swimming….you look like a CIA agent on holiday!” Becca laughed and pointed to Brian’s ‘disguise’.
“Ooo…I forgot…” Brian said sheepishly and removed his cap and sunglasses.
“Much better….” Becca kissed the tip of his nose and they walked into the Water Park.

“It’s ok Carter, you can stop running. I won’t push you into the tank…” Cassidy smiled.
“You’d better not…” Nick said cautiously.
“Cross my heart…” Cassidy smiled.
“Hope to die….?” Nick whispered wrapping his arms around her waist.
“Hope to die….” Cassidy repeated losing herself in his baby blues.
Nick kissed her sweetly and they stayed in each other’s arms contentedly for a while.
“You wanna get some cotton candy?” Nick grinned.
“Yeah sure….” Cassidy laughed as they walked off together.

“Come on Kev, give it you’re best shot…” Howie laughed as the two played the numerous sideshow alley games. At the moment they were trying their luck in the shooting gallery.
“Oh yeah!” Kevin cheered as he bulls eyed the target.
“Hmm…remind me never to get in a gun fight with you because you’re a pretty good shot…” Howie grinned.
“Yeah… good ole farmboy..that’s me..” Kevin added a little more than usual to his southern drawl.
“I wonder how Becca and Brian are…” Howie wondered as they walked further along sideshow alley.
“Yeah…I think Nick and Cassidy went to the shark tank…” Kevin added.
“Kev?” Howie asked.
“Yeah Howie…”
“Are we losers?”
“Uhhh….yeah I think so…” Kevin laughed.
“Ohh..ok..just checking..”
“That’s cool…”
