A night to remember: Part Two


“Mmmm ‘The Playpen’...sounds good!” Cassidy grinned.
Nick winked cheekily as they walked into the pumping club. There were people bumping and grinding everywhere, as well as people dancing in large wrought iron cages.
Cassidy raised her eyebrows. “Now I know why you waited to come here...”
“Oh yeah! This is the best club in town!!” Kevin grinned.
Nick grabbed Cassidy’s hand and led her to a space on the dance floor.
“Come on....let’s dance...” He smiled placing his hands around her waist.

“Mmmm....alcohol, loud music, sweaty bodies... you up to it Emma?” AJ smirked.
“Oh I’m up to it...but are you??” Emma grinned and pulled AJ into a nearby cage.
“Ready, willing and very well equipped...” AJ replied as they began to lose themselves in the music.

“Ok Howie, let’s find us some women....” Kevin smiled and dissapeared into he sea of people.
“I wonder what Julie’s doing?” Howie thought to himself.
“Forget about Julie...she dumped you remember...” Howie told himself and decided not to let it get him down. He spotted a cute blonde by herself.
“Ok Howie....be cool...”
“Hi...” Howie said smiling sweetly.
“Hi......” The blonde answered.
“You’re not dancing?” Howie pointed out.
“No, the music’s actually giving me a bit of a headache...” The girl smiled.
“Oh...I’m Howie by the way...”
“Hi Howie...I’m Holly...”
“Nice to meet you Holly....hey, would you like me to accompany you to the bar upstairs...it’s much quieter....that is, if you’re not waiting for someone...” Howie extended his hand gently.
“Thanks....that’d be nice..” Holly smiled taking Howie’s hand.
“Well lookie there....Howie’s found himself some sugar after all...” Kevin grinned to himself.

“Are you having fun??” Nick asked Cassidy as a slower song started playing.
“yeah I am...” Cassidy smiled.
“I’m glad...soo...umm....Cassidy..” Nick started.
“Yeah Nick....?”
“Umm....” He traced his fingers carefully over her jawline.
“Yeah...?” Cassidy grinned.
“You...you look really beautiful tonight....” Nick ended up blurting out.
“Uhh....thanks...you look good too...” Cassidy smiled draping her arms around Nick’s shoulders.
Cassidy reached up and kissed Nick on the cheek. “You’re so cute when you...”
Nick suddenly kissed Cassidy....suprising her.
“What were you saying?” Nick grinned.
“Uhh....I was just gonna ask if you wanted to go somewhere else..? Somewhere a little quieter..?”
Nick smiled. “Yeah....I know somewhere we can go...”
“Ok...there’s Kev by the pool tables...I’ll just tell him we’re going....”
“Ok..I’ll meet you out the front with the car...” Nick smiled kissing Cassidy on the cheek.

“This is a lot better...how’s your headache..?” Howie asked sweetly pulling out a chair for Holly.
“Much better....” Holly smiled as Howie sat across from her.
“So Holly, you here by yourself tonight?” Howie began to make conversation.
“Well I’m actually here with a couple of my girlfriends but I think I lost them in like the first 30 seconds we walked in the club...” she shook her head laughing.
Howie smiled. Holly had a really nice laugh.
“So are you here by yourself...?” Holly asked.
“Yeah...I came here with some guys..but I think they’re occupied...if you know what I mean..” Howie pointed through the glass down at AJ bumpin and grinding with Emma in one of the cages.
“Ohh...I see...” Holly laughed.
“Can I buy you a drink?” Howie offered.
“Umm...yeah, just an orange juice thanks...” Holly smiled.
“Ok just a second...” Howie said heading over to the bar.

Emma breathed in AJ’s sexy cologne as they danced up against the side of the cage, she could sense his eyes roaming her body, but she didn’t mind.
“Hey Emma you want a drink...” AJ asked as the current song ended.
“Oh yeah...” Emma laughed.
Emma took AJ’s hand as they pushed through the crowd to get to the bar.

“Hey Kev...we’re gonna get going ok?” Cassidy said as she approached Kevin who was playing pool with some other guys that Cassidy didn’t know.
“What sorry??” Kev chalked his cue and looked at Cassidy.
“Me and Nick....we’re gonna go...I just didn’t want anyone looking for us...” Cassidy repeated herself.
“Ohh...ok....have...err... ‘fun’...” Kevin began to turn.
“Oh Kevin you know its not like that...” Cassidy defended.
“What? I’m not gonna tell you how to live your life...” Kevin shrugged.
“Kevin! You’re not listening....Nick and I aren’t gonna do....” Cassidy trailed off.
Kevin looked at Cassidy. His face softened.
“God...Cassidy I’m so sorry...I just, I like....urgh..I’ve, I don’t know..have to protect you or something..I care about you a lot...” Kevin apologized.
“That’s cool Kev...thankyou...” Cassidy gave Kevin a hug.
“Don’t forget this...” Kevin smiled and held the locket that Cassidy had around her neck, the one that Kevin had given her.
“I won’t....have a good night Kev..” Cassidy smiled at Kevin before she turned and headed out of the club.

“One orange juice Madame...” Howie smiled and handed Holly her drink.
“Thank you sir...” Holly grinned and took a sip.
“So are you in college...or...?” Howie asked.
“I’m a music teacher at the local elementary school...” Holly smiled.
“Wow! Great job...” Howie was impressed.
“Yeah...music is my first love, and kids are my second...so yeah...go figure...” Holly replied.
“I know what you mean...Music is my passion....I’m actually...ahh...umm...a performer..” Howie wasn’t sure what to say about the whole BSB thing.
“I know who you are Howie...It’s ok..” Holly said gently.
“Huh?? You do??” Howie had no idea, Holly had acted completely natural.
“Yeah Howie...do you have to go now or something...” Holly looked a little disappointed.
“Do you wanna dance?” Howie smiled.
“Because you know....huh??” Holly stopped abruptly.
“Holly, may I please have this dance?” Howie’s eyes twinkled.
“I’d love to...” Holly smiled taking Howie’s extended hand.
