A night to remember: Part One


“I swear, do those girls know the meaning of showing up on time??” Howie laughed looking at his watch.
“they’ve got to make an entrance...” Kevin added. getting up to get the next round of drinks.
“Ooo...speak of the devils..” AJ grinned.
“Ohh...look out..” Howie grinned as Cassidy, becca and Emma entered the resturant and after spotting the boys, headed over to them; turning more than a few heads in their direction.
“You look gorgeous...” Brian’s blue eyes sparkled as he stood up and gave Becca a kiss on the cheek.
“Aww Thanks Bri! But all credit must go to my fairy godmother Cassidy, who has created cinderella for the evening...” Becca smiled as Cassidy who just grinned and shrugged monchalantly.
“Ohh....I try my best you know..”She winked at Becca.
“Sorry we’re late...I’m starving!!” Emma laughed.
“Ok well Kev’s just gone to get some drinks and then we’ll order?” AJ suggested takin a seat in the large carner booth that they had occupied.
“Sounds great!!” Emma smiled and flopped down next to AJ with Howie sitting on her other side.
“Do you wanna drink Becca?” Brian asked sweetly.
“Yeah that’d be great thanks...” Becca replied.
“Yeah thanks Brian.....just a coke...” Cassidy added.
“Uhh....aren’t people supposed to ask you first Cass??” Brian laughed.
“Oops....” Cassidy giggled.
“Ok I’ll be back in a second...” Brian headed for the bar.
Emma, Howie, AJ and Becca were now deep in conversationat the table. Cassidy looked around. she then began to shift her cardigan from her shoulders, when two hands slid it off for her. Cassidy turned around and was met by Nick’s smiling face.
“Hey...where have you been?” Cassidy smiled as she motioned for Nick to sit down next to her.
“Uhh...the little backstreet boys room??” Nick laughed.
“Uhhh...I’ll just take my cardigan off your hands ok?” Cassidy laughed as she grabbed her cardi off Nick.
“Not even! I was just fixing my hair..” Nick defended.
Cassidy looked at Nick’s hair, it was primped to perfection. She grinned.
“What??” He asked self-conciously.
“You look great...” Cassidy smiled sincerly.
“Thanks....you look...look...beautiful...” Nick looked Cassidy up and down and shook his head in amazement.
“Ok drinks are here...” Brian and Kevin returned to the table.
“Let’s order!!” Emma whined impatiently, the table laughed and AJ motioned to a waiter.
“My god I’m gonna explode any second...” Howie laughed as they finished their meals.
“That was soooo yummy!” Cassidy added.
“I’m glad Cass....but I still can’t believe we’re in this swish restraunt and you and Nick ordered cheesburgers!” Brian shook his head laughing. Cassidy and Nick looked offended.
“What’s wrong with that??”
“Anyway...” AJ butted in grinning.
“What are ya’ll going now??” He finished.
“Umm...well I dunno about you guys, but I’m just getting warmed up here..” Howie grinned and AJ, Cassidy, Emma, Nick and Kevin nodded wickedly in agreement.
“You wanna hit the clubs??” Nick suggested.
“HELL YEAH!” Was the response, except for two noticeable omissions.
“Becca, Bri?? You not in?” AJ asked with interest.
“Uhhh...nah, not really in the mood..” Becca replied, Brian nodded.
“Aj opened his mouth to ask another question but Cassidy beat him. “That’s cool...another time...” She gave AJ the eye to close his mouth and Becca flashed Cassidy a grateful smile.
Cassidy grinned back. She knew that Becca wouldn’t want her intended plans with Brian that night to become public just yet
“yeah, another time....well, are we gonna get going??” AJ asked.
“Saddle up partner!” Kevin laughed standing up.
“Yeehah...” Cassidy laughed as she put her cardigan back on and grabbed her purse.
“Ladies first...” Howie smiled as Emma as they went to leave the restaurant.
“See ya guys...” Brian smiled.
“Seeya Rok....have a good night...” Nick replied.
“Talk to ya tomorrow Becca....enjoy yourself..” Cassidy said giving Becca a hug.
“I will...” Becca smiled.
“You ready??” Nick asked Cassidy.
“No...are you ready boy? Cause you better be...” Cassidy said flirtatiously.
“Down girl...” Nick laughed and took hold of Cassidy’s hand as they left the restaurant.
