Anubiz started out around March '99, Before that we played together but not very serious, covers mostly from bands like Korn, Coal Chamber, Sepultura etc. In the early beginning Jan, now a crewmember, was our singer. He even sang at our very first live performance.
You can describe Anubiz as a Heavy, Dark, Sick sounding Metalband. We are influenced by many different bands, and styles like Hardcore,Hip-hop, Black metal, Death metal, Industrial, and Alternative Rock. The Anubiz sound is a very intense and emotional mix between those styles. The lyrics dealing with subjects as dreams, fantasies, everyday issues, love, fear, hope, and anger...
When Maymut writes a poem, it's always straight from the heart, he truly feels sick when he sings his shit,as you can feel at our live performances. Together with the rumbling beats from Mark, the bouncing bass sounds and backing screams from D-Forrm, and some awesome brutal power riffs from Gaim and Georgez, Anubiz is an assault on your senses.
