One: You may know Jimmy Constable as a the hard-living
party animal of pop, but he probably didn't want you
to know that his idea of a good night in is setting
down in front of telly to watch 'Inspector Morse'
or 'The Bill'. Ooh living life on the edge!
Two: Even if 911 were to split up tomorrow (Nooooo!)
Jimmy would still stay in the music business because
he's built his own recording studio. He says he'd
like to produce bands or maybe even become a
manager.
Three: Like all the lads, Jimmy's a big footie fan. But did you
know he could have been a football player instead
of a pop star? Before joining 911 Jimmy had a six-
month apprenticeship with Wrexham F.C., but
didn't make the grade. Just think, you could have
been watching him on 'Match Of The Day' instead
of 'Top Of The Pops'!
Four: Jimmy's favourite team is Liverpool (big rivals of
Spike's team Manchester United) and he was well-
chuffed when top Liverpool stricker Robbie Fowler
came up to him at the Spice Girls party after the
Brit Awards in 1996 and said he was a big 911 fan!
Five: Another of Jimmy's musical heroes is Michael Jackson
, but did you know that when he was younger his
bedroom walls were covered in posters of Jacko?
Embarrassing!
Six: Jimmy's used to getting fan mail now but did you
know he was receiving saucy letters from fans
even before he was in 911? As you know he used to
be a dancer on 'The Hitman And Her' with Spike, and
once he got a letter from a lady who wanted to pour
fruit juice over him and then lick it off. Fruity!
Seven: 911 fans are famous for bringing banners with
rude messages to the gigs, but it's all worthwhile
cos Jimmy says he reads every one and even points
them out to the other lads mid-song!
"The ruder the better," he laughs.
Eight: The best bit of advice Jimmy was ever given came
from Robbie Williams (Jimmy's a huge Take That
fan) who just told him not to do what he did!
"I can't believe anyone would come to me looking
for advice anyway!" laughed Robbie later.
Nine: Jimmy's most embarrassing moment? Well,
he used to go on in interviews about how he fancied
Louise, so whenever 911 fans spotted Louise they
used to get her autograph for Jimmy, which she
thought was very amusing! He's also been linked
with Gwen from No Doubt and Davinia from
'Hollyoaks' but denies any snog-ups with them...
