Kiko Loureiro
Guitar-virtuoso Pedro Henrique (Kiko) Loureiro was born in Rio de Janeiro (16/06/72). At the age of 11 he began playing the guitar. He played for Legalize and Kentucky. He also worked as a session musician. Influenced by Frank Gambale and Allan Holdworth Kiko is known to many guitarists through monthly columns in guitar-magazines in Brazil, France and Japan. Kiko has a worldwide endorsement from Washburn Guitars. He even has a special line of guitar-strings called 'Kiko Loureiro Cables'. As many Angra-members Kiko is teaching (guitar)lessons. In Japan and Brazil he released a homevideo with guitar techniques for beginning players.
