Bass-guitarist Luis Eduardo Mariutti Pereira was born at March 22nd 1971. At the age of 13 Luis got a bass from his father. Two years later he was playing in a coverband. Luis joined Firebox when he was 18 years old. He was also working with an instrumental project called 'Black N Blues'. With the formation of Angra in 1991 Luis entered the 'Universaty of Free Music' where he studied for one and a half years. Luis gained experience in teaching bass-lessons for two years. He is a real metal fan. One of his favourite bands is AC/DC. Inspired by his hero Steve Harris, Luis wants to play heavy metal with power, intensity, finesse and technical proficiency, all together.
