OLD picture.
My name is Nithin Thompson I live in Martinsville, New Jersey. I'm 17 years old and a senior in high school. I've been a Christian for about three years. I go to Martinsville United Methodist Church. I go there because my dad is the pastor but I was saved at a friends youth group called Clinton Hill Baptist Church in Union. I'm a total Jesus Freak and I live my faith loud and proud. The power is in Jesus name and I just pray that God can use me in big ways if he sees fit.
A Christian is someone who is follower of Jesus Christ. A person who realizes that Jesus Christ was both God and Man and lives according to the truth revealed through God's inerrante Holy Word, the Bible. According to that truth, Jesus Christ made the claim, "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, NO MAN CAN COME TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME." (John 14:6, capitalization mine).
Man's always had a problem with sin. God has always claimed to be the solution to sin. Sin is the pain and suffering that we endure in this world. Sin is sepparation from God which the bible teaches was because of the fall of man in the garden of Eden. We have all inherrited that sinful nature "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23). So we all are in this thing called sin, born sepparated from God, rebellious against the creator. Jesus came and bridged the gap between man and God. Jesus sacrifice on the cross fullfills God's requirement of absolute holiness to enter into his eternity. We have eternal life because we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, if you do not then you will perish into eternal darkness. I don't mean to sound like I'm putting condemnation on anyone, but truth is truth. If Jesus is the truth than anything contrary to him is deemed false. Jesus came to give free will and to show the way, you can totally put Christ out of your life but the consequences will stand. Don't take my word for it, read the bible yourself. In the proper context and without prejudice. Any fool can make the bible say whatever he/she wants it too, but only the holy spirit can bring a proper perspective on the Holy Scriptures.
