The second sign that Slayer's carrer is over is Undisputed Attitude. Now I will say that I like this album, but it's all cover songs from other bands which I've heard before. Guns 'N' Roses tried going down this road with The Spaghetti Incident and look where it got them. I will give Slayer this much, Undisputed Attitude is a solid album on all ends, but it's not Slayers work, so they can't get the credit. The only original song on the album, Gemini, is weak, and I'm afraid that the former masters of thrash have lost all of their edge. They must realize by now that they are beyond hope. I've been a Slayer fan since the beginning, and I enjoyed all their previous albums, but any band that puts out an album of covers loses my respect. All in all, if you want to hear these songs done Slayer style, check the album out. If you want to hear Slayer themselves, put on an older album.
Keep Rockin'
