With the release of their second album, Pigwalk, Stuck Mojo are back and better than ever. A huge improvement over their first album, Pigwalk shows some good fortune for the bands future. The simplest way to describe the unique sound of Stuck Mojo are that they are a cross between Cypriss Hill and metal. This isn't to say that they're album is primarily rap based, but it does add a nice touch to their sound. The first track, Pigwalk, hits you fast and hard with jammin riffs and an almost Ministry type sound. The track that sounds the most like Cypriss Hill is track 2, Mental Melt Down. This hard, grinding song is one of my personal favourites from the album, and it's sure to please. The downside to Stuck Mojo's new album is it gets a little repetitive in terms of sound and creativity, and this lowers the albums overall listening ability. Still, if you like the sound Stuck Mojo puts out you're sure to like the album.
Keep rockin'
