29 July 99-'Bloodflowers' has been delayed yet again this time it is until February 2000 It is also rumoredto be The Cure's last album and according to Chris White(editor of CureNews) this coming CureNews21 will probably be the last as well.....sigh give Robert a vote when you get a chance......Favorite Male Singer

26 may 99-The Cure assault ruling overturned The Cure, who lost a lawsuit in Orange county,CA superior court in February, recently saw that ruling overturned on 6 May after a judge declared the verdict unenforceable due to the bands inability to mount a defense The Cure were sued by a fan in 1996 who had claimed he had been assaulted by a bodyguard after seeking an autograph at the bands hotel during The Cure's SWING TOUR the original verdict given in absentia was overruled after a judge learned that the band was never served papers properly regarding the suit and unaware of the case prior to the verdict in the meantime the band is still holed up in london recording the follow up to 1996's Wild Mood Swings according to the bands publicist Michael Pagnotta of Reach Media that album should surface by the end of the year
