Remember~Christina Rossetti

Remember me when i am gone away,
Gone far away into that silent land;
When you can no longer hold me by the hand,
Nor i half turn to go,yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more,day by day,
You tell me of our future that you planned;
Only remember me;You understand
It will be late then to counsel or pray
Yet if you should forget me for awhile
And afterwards remeber me,do not grieve;
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once i had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remeber and be sad

Eternity~Thomas Chatterton

He who binds to himself a Joy
Doth the winged life destroy;
But he who kisses the Joy as it flies
Live's in Eternity's sunrise
Break of Day~John Donne

Stay, O sweet, and do not rise;
The light that shines comes from thine eyes;
The day breaks not ,it is my heart,
Because that you and i must part.
Stay,or else my joys will die
And perish in their infancy
Love's Secret~William Blake

Never seek to tell thy love,
Love that never told can be;
For the gentle wind does move
Silently, invisibly.

I told my love, I told my love,
I told her all my heart;
Trembling, cold, in ghastly fears,
Ah! She did depart!

Soon as she was gone from me
A traveler came by
Silently, invisibly:
He took her with a sigh
(Untitled)~Kristy Warmus

he walks the gravel to the end
he takes the gravel
until the last bend
There he stops
thinks how and when
at the top
where such beauty is sent

his beauty so high and free
has been tethered and
tied to a tree
But the leash has been broken
no longer could he accept the tokens
lingering watching
waiting to be
he leans over the the edge
to see the dark sea
Mad w/waves
and foaming w/fury
The dark sea seems in
such a hurry
Longing Aching
to be there in the sea
he takes his plunge
not meant to be
Inside of the madness
Down in the sea
He wonders calmly
and flutters his feet
"Which way is down?
Which way is right?"
which way would
make him
feel as if in flight?

He tried all the ways
Yet none found him flight
to this day he lay tethered
in the deep ocean light
Today Is Ours~Abraham Cowley

Fill the bowl with rosy wine
Around our temples roses twine;
And let us cheerfully awhile
Like the wine and roses smile.
Crowned with roses we contemn
Gyges' wealthy diadem.
Today is ours. What do we fear!
Today is ours. We have it here!
Let's treat it kindly, that it may
Wish,at last ,with us to stay
Banish business! Banish sorrow
To the gods belongs tomorrow
