Left Eye

Lisa Nicole Lopes, known to millions as Left Eye, was born May 27, 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began her career as a rapper in Philly and performed in school plays and performances. She is also talented in creative writing, sewing and dancing. She is the rapper in TLC and writes many of their lyrics, as well as titling all their albums. She was featured in the "Not Tonight" remix along with Missy Elliot and Lil' Kim. She also hosted the MTV series "The Cut". She was featured on Method Man's album Tical 2000 on "Cradle Rock". Lisa was taken from us in an automobile accident on April 15, 2002. She was an extremely talented and beautiful person, and she is sorely missed.
