Brendan James Fraser
was born on December 3, 1968 in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a
child, he traveled with his family around the world in an
effort to promote tourism in Canada. Among the many exotic
places Brendan lived are Cleveland, Seattle, London, the
Netherlands, Switzerland, Toronto, and his current home in
Los Angeles.
Brendan heard his
calling to become an actor at age twelve, while living in
London surrounded by theater. He moved on to an all-boys
prep school in Canada, and after graduation, Brendan
attended a college for the arts in Seattle. Here he lived in
a dormitory with three female roomates, possibly too make up
for his adolescence at prep school. In 1991, Brendan drove
his mom's car to Los Angeles in order to audition for a part
which he did not win. He did, however, land a one-line part
in the film Dogfight; a tv movie with Martin Sheen; the
