“Okay Haley! Push!”, Dr. Emerick told Haley. She gripped onto Brian’s hand and held on for dear life as she pushed. She screamed. “You are doing great honey. Keep it up.”, Brian said stroking her forehead. “Give me one more good push Haley. Then you will have a baby!”, the doctor instructed. Haley gritted down her teeth and pushed as hard as she could. A baby’s cry was heard. “Congratulations. You have a beautiful baby boy!”, the doctor said handing it to a nurse to clean him up. Brian kissed Haley on the cheek. “You did wonderful sweetie. We have a son!”, Brian said tears running down his face. Haley was crying too. The nurse brought the baby over to them and handed him to Haley. “Hello little one. You look just like your daddy.”, she said sweetly. “I think he looks like you.”, Brian said playing with his son’s fingers. “He has your nose.”, Haley said laughing. “Is that a good thing?”, Brian joked. “Yes that is a good thing!”, Haley said touching his nose. “Excuse me. We have to move Mrs. Littrell into her room now.”, a nurse said taking the baby. “Okay. I am going to go tell the guys the good news. I’ll see you in a little while okay?” “Okay. I love you.” “I love you too.” Brian walked out into the hall in the green scrubs the nurses had given him to wear in the delivery room. He opened the doors to see everyone waiting in the living room.

“What is going on?”, AJ jumped up. “Calm down AJ. I am a father!”, Brian said excited at saying that. Everyone hugged him. AJ was jumping around like a mad man. “Is it a boy or a girl?”, Kevin asked patting Brian on the back. “It’s a boy. I have a son. I can not believe it!”, he said putting his hands on his head. “When can we all see her?”, Nick asked. “They just moved her into her room. You all can probably see her in about half an hour. I am going to go up there right now to see her though. I will come back and get you in a little while.”

Brian asked a nurse what room his wife was in and took the elevator up to her room. When he stepped in the door he found Haley in bed with their baby in her arms. “How is my beautiful wife and son?”, Brian whispered and sat down next to Haley on a stool. “Well your son is sleeping but your wife is doing fine.” “He looks so cute sleeping. He look so peaceful.”, Brian said staring at him. “Brian. What are we going to name him?”, Haley asked looking at him. “Oh my gosh. I didn’t even think about names.” “What do you think of Tyler Jordan Littrell?”, Haley asked suggesting a name. “I like that. It sounds prestigious. Tyler Jordan Littrell it is.”, Brian said stroking Tyler’s cheek.

“The gang really wants to see you two. Do you mind if they come in here?”, Brian asked sweetly. “No not at all. Go get them. I can’t wait to show this baby off.”, Haley said softly. “Okay I’ll be right back.” Brian kissed her then went down to the lobby to get everyone. He got them and brought them back up. “Ladies and gentleman. Meet the Littrell family. This is our newest edition to the family. Tyler Jordan Littrell.”, Brian said laughing. “Oh he is so cute.”, Kameron gushed over the baby. “Oh Haley. You better watch out. He has Brian’s nose. You have another little Snotzilla in the family.”, AJ joked looking at Tyler. Everyone laughed. “Can I hold him?”, Kevin asked. “Sure.”, Haley handed Tyler to Kevin very slowly. “You have yourself a little singer here. I can tell.”, Kevin said sitting down in a chair with the baby. “Not if he winds up with his mother’s voice.”, Brian joked. “That’s not funny Brian!”, Haley warned him. “I”m just kidding honey. Don’t take it personal!”, Brian said kissing her on the hand.

“Okay guys. I don’t mean to be rude but my wife just had a baby. She needs to rest. So she will see you all tomorrow.”, Brian said trying to sound intimidating. “See lookie there. Already getting protective!”, Haley joked. Kevin handed the baby to Brian and they all said goodbye. They promised to come see Haley and Tyler the next day.
