At about 10, Brian and Haley went to her house to get her things. Luckily, James wasn’t there. When they got in the house, they quickly tried to pack a few of her things. They didn’t want to risk running into James. After Haley packed as much of her clothes as possible, they left. “So, when do you have to go back to Orlando.”, Haley asked on the car ride back to Brian’s house. “I leave next week. We are going to do a little work in the studio.”, Brian said a little sadly. “Well, that gives us until next week then to catch up on everything that has gone on in our life in the past 4 years.”, Haley said smiling. Brian smiled at her cheerfulness. “Okay. I have an idea. How about we rent a movie and have one of our famous pig feasts.”, Brian said glancing over at Haley and smiling. “That sounds great!”, Haley exclaimed. Brian pulled into the parking lot of Blockbuster and they went in. “How about that one.”, they both said in unison. They began to laugh. They were pointing to the same movie. “She’s All That.” Brian picked it up and they went to the front desk to pay for it.

“Honey. I’m really sorry but your dad and I have to go to a business dinner in Louisville tonight. We will probably stay in a hotel. I’m sorry to do this to you on your first visit home in ages.”, Jackie apologized. “It’s okay Mom. Haley and I rented a movie. We’ll be fine. I’m a big boy now Mom. Last time I checked I was 23.” Haley tried to stifle a laugh. “Well all right Mr. Hotshot!”, Jackie said amused. “I’ll see you two tomorrow then.” She hugged them both goodbye and left.

“What do you say we go get the food for our pig out?”, Brian said with a smile. “Do you still have the same appetite you always did?”, Haley asked poking him in the stomach like she used to. He did the Pillsbury Dough Boy laugh. “You know I do girl!” She laughed and walked to the kitchen with Brian behind her. They rounded up enough food to get them through the movie and went to the living room. They got comfy on the couch and Brian pressed play on the remote control. After the movie, they sat there talking for a while. A big grin spread across Haley’s face. “What are you thinking about?!?”, Brian asked amused but scared at what she was plotting. “Truth or Dare?”, she said laughing. “No way!! There is no way I am playing that game again. You know how much trouble that game got me into last time!”, he said playing. “That’s only because you didn’t tell the truth Brian!” “So sue me! If I do play this time, I get to ask the first question okay?” “Okay.” “Okay I’ll play. Truth or dare Haley?”, Brian grinned. “Uh...I’ll take dare.”, she said proudly. “Oh this is going to be fun!”, Brian said grabbing the cordless phone from the coffee table. “What do I have to do?”, she said kind of worried but excited at the same time. “I am going to dial a number. When someone picks up ask for AJ. When he gets on the phone, put on your sexiest voice and talk sexy to him.”, he said dialing. “Oh my gosh. I can’t believe this!”, she said groaning. Brian pushed in the numbers and handed Haley the phone. “I am going to kill you.”, she said before someone answered.

On the 4th ring a woman answered. “Hello?”, the woman said. “Could I speak to AJ please?”, Haley said trying to be calm about the situation. “Yes. Just a second and I’ll get him.” Haley told Brian that a woman answered and that she was going to get AJ. “Yeah. That is his mom.” Brian pressed the speakerphone button so he could hear what AJ’s reaction was going to be. A raspy voice came to the phone. “Hello?”, he said cheerfully. “Hey baby. What are you wearing right now?”, Haley purred into the phone. Brian had his head buried in a pillow so he wouldn’t laugh too loud. “What the hell?! Who is this?!?”, AJ asked confused. “Let’s just say I’m a friend of a friend. So tell me, what kind of woman turns you on?”, Haley continued. “Listen, if you don’t tell me your name right now I’m gonna hang up.”, he said trying to keep from laughing. “Well that would be your loss baby. But I guess it won’t hurt to tell you my name. You can call me Kitty.”, Haley said continuing with the joke. Brian let out a big laugh from t he pillow. “Who in the hell was that?”, AJ said loudly. “Hi AJ.”, Brian said laughing. “Rok? What the hell was that all about?!? Who is the woman trying to seduce me over the phone?!”, AJ asked laughing but confused. “That was Haley. We are playing truth or dare and I dared her to call you and talk sexy.” “Hi AJ. This is some way for me to finally talk to you huh?”, Haley laughed. “You are THE Haley?!? You mean the one Brian always....” Brian clicked off of the speakerphone and picked up the cordless. He didn’t want her to hear what AJ was going to say. “Yes AJ. It is Haley. My ex-girlfriend. Don’t act so surprised.”, Brian laughed. “What is going on between you two Brian?”, AJ asked. “Nothing right now.”, he said looking at Haley. “Well Bone, I’ll let you go. We’re gonna finish our game. It’s my turn. I’ll probably have to run around town naked or something for making her call you and do that. Pray for me Bone!!”, Brian said laughing. “Okay. I know you wouldn’t run around naked if she paid you though! Bye!”, AJ said joking around. “Bye.” Brian hung up the phone.

“Okay, you’re turn. Truth or dare Brian.”, Haley said leaning back on the couch. “I am going to take truth even though I will probably regret it later.”, he said also leaning back. “Um.....have you been in love with anyone in the past 4 years?”, Haley asked almost blushing. Brian blushed a little but answered the question honestly. “Yes. I have loved you in the past 4 years.” “Excuse me?”, she asked astonished and confused. “Haley. After we broke up I still loved you. I still love you. You are the only person that makes me forget everything else in my life, even if it is only for a little while. I would understand if you didn’t want to talk to me now.” Brian finished and looked at Haley. She was deep in thought. She smiled and crawled over to Brian. “I love you too.” She brought her lips to Brian’s and sweetly kissed him. It was their first kiss in over 4 years. “Wow. Where does this leave us?”, he asked when they parted. “I don’t know. I would like to try again if it’s all right with you.”, she said kissing his neck. “So you are saying that you want to get back together?”, Brian asked hoping the answer was yes. “Ding ding ding!! Tell him what he has won Jonny!”, Haley joked. “I think that is a very good idea.”, he said smiling and kissing her again.

Later on that night, they both were in Brian’s room getting ready for bed. Haley sat down on the bed when she noticed a photo album on top of the night stand. “Brian do you mind if I look at that?”, she asked before opening it. “No not at all.”, he said pulling on a T-shirt to sleep in. Haley picked it up and opened it. The first picture she saw was one of their prom pictures. “Would ya look at that?”, she said looking at it. “What?”, Brian asked coming up behind her on the bed and resting his head on her shoulder. “I still remember that like it was yesterday.”, she said still looking at it. She turned the page and saw their graduation picture. The picture was taken of them right after they graduated. They were holding up their diplomas and kissing in front of the camera. They both started laughing when they saw it. “Look at how young we were.”, Brian said astonished. “Brian. We aren’t exactly old honey.”, she said joking. “You know what I mean!” “I know. I know.” They finished looking at the album and went to sleep.
