“I can’t believe I leave in 2 days.”, Brian said holding Haley. They were at the lake...their old spot back in high school. “I know. I am going to miss you.”, Haley said looking out at the lake. “I will be at ease knowing you are safe with my parents after I leave though.”, Brian said kissing her head. “What?! I can’t stay at your parent’s house when you’re not there. I wouldn’t feel right doing that. I will just find an apartment.”, she said looking at him. “You know very well that you can not find an apartment in 2 days. You can’t stay with your mom because she lives in California now. So, I have a proposition for you.”, he said rubbing her shoulders. “What would that be?” “Okay. I have a huge apartment in Orlando. It is way too big for one person. Howie and AJ used to live in it with me but they moved out to get their own places, so if you would like you can come out to live with me.”, Brian said smiling like a kid. “You want me to move to Orlando? Well I guess I could. I gave my notice to the clinic a week ago. I was going to move to California with my mom but I think I would enjoy spending time with you in Orlando. So yeah. I will come with you.”, she said hugging him. “Really?!? I can’t believe this! I can’t wait for the guys to meet you!”, he said hugging her tightly. “So, I guess I can go with you to Orlando in 2 days huh?” “You better believe it! I will call the airline tomorrow and get you a ticket.”

Brian took her hand and laced his fingers with his. He noticed something. “Oh my goodness.”, Brian said out loud. “What? What?”, Haley asked confused. “You still wear it?”, Brian asked surprised and happy at the same time. He was talking about the promise ring he had given her back in high school. “Ofcourse I still wear it. Just because we broke up didn’t mean that I forgot about you or you forgot about me. So therefore, the ring still had meaning so I still wore it.”, she explained twisting it around on her finger. “You are a hopeless romantic. Did you know that?”, he asked laughing. “I know. You aren’t one to be talking Stud Muffin!! So are you!”, she said punching him. “I know. That is why we are so good together my love.” They laughed and kissed. “Let’s go home and pack. I can’t wait to get you to Orlando!”, he said pulling her to his car. “Okay! Okay!”, she said running with him.

*2 days later in Orlando*

“Brian you weren’t kidding when you said you had a huge apartment!”, Haley said sitting her bags down. “Well, it’s home.”, Brian said closing the door behind him. He went over to the answering machine and let the messages play. There were a few. One was from Nick. “Brian dont’ ya think it’s time ya came back from Kentucky? I mean come on now!! I am dying over here of boredom!! Isn’t that something? I mean I spend 3 whole months on tour waking up to your ugly face every morning and here I am begging you to come home so I can see you! Isn’t it ironic?!? Hey wait a minute. Isn’t that a song? Oh nevermind. I’m babbling. I’ll shut up now. Later! Haley laughed at his message. “That Nick is a character huh?!”, she said still laughing. “Yeah but he’s cool. He may be 19 year old but he is cool. He is my best friend. I tell him everything.”, Brian explained looking through his mail. “Speaking of best friends! Kameron lives in Orlando!”, Haley screeched suddenly. “Kameron White!? I didn’t know she lived in Orlando.”, he said happy that Haley knew somebody in Orlando. “Yeah. She moved here about a year ago. We haven’t seen each other in a year but we are still best friends. Do you care if I go see her?”, Haley asked with a pouty look. “No I don’t mind at all. You can take my car. What is her address and I’ll write down directions for you.”, he said grabbing a pen and a piece of paper. Haley gave him the address and Brian drew a map for her. “It is only about a 3 minute drive from here. Not far at all.” “Thanks babe. I’ll be back in about an hour probably.” “Don’t worry. Take as long as you want. Just give me a goodbye kiss before you leave!”, Brian said coming closer to her. “Did you think I wouldn’t?”, Haley joked. She give him a long passionate kiss. “I liked that.”, he said smiling. “I knew you would! Bye baby!”, she said closing the door and walking down the stairs to Brian’s car.

Like Brian said it only took about 3 minutes to get to Kameron’s house. She found Kameron’s house with no problems. “That boy gives good directions.”, she thought to herself. She saw Kameron’s car in the driveway so she knew she was home. Haley walked up the cobblestone path to the front door and knocked. Kameron answered shortly there after. “Haley?!? Oh my gosh!”, Kameron yelled and hugged her. “Hey girl!! How have you been?”, Haley said with a genuine huge smile. “I am good! Why are you in Orlando?”, Kameron asked ushering her into her house. It was a nice house. “Actually, I live in Orlando now.” “You what? Why? When? How? Huh?!?” Kameron had so many questions. Haley laughed. “Calm down Kam! I live in Orlando now in an apartment with my roommate.” Haley figured she would string her along for a little while. “Who is your roommate?” “His name is Brian Littrell.”, Haley smiled. “BRIAN?!?!?!?”, Kameron yelled. “Yes Brian! We are back together. He came to Lexington last week and things just happened in our favor. Things happened and I needed a place to live and he insisted I come live in Orlando with him. So here I am!” The girls hugged again. Haley didn’t keep anything a secret from Kameron though. She told her everything about James and about how Brian saved her. “Oh I’m so sorry Haley. Why didn’t you tell me things were that bad at home? You could have always come and lived with me.”, Kameron said placing her hand over Haley’s. “I was ashamed first off. I didn’t want anyone to know that it was happening to me. I am just glad that Brian came that night. I don’t know what would have happened. But let’s not think about that now. Let’s think happy thoughts!”, Haley said laughing. “Okay! I am so glad you are here!”, Kameron bursted out. “I am happy to be here. I have to go now though. I have to go back to the apartment and un-pack. I’ll call you and we’ll go do something soon okay?”, Haley said getting up. “Okay. I’ll see ya later. Thanks for coming to see me!” The girls hugged goodbye and Haley went back to the apartment.

“Hey sweetie! How is Kameron?”, Brian asked kissing her hello when she stepped into the apartment. “She is great. She is so happy that I am in Orlando.” “That’s great. I called all the guys while you were gone. They are all coming over in about an hour. I hope you don’t mind.”, Brian said pouring a glass of tea. He poured one for Haley too. “No I don’t mind. I can’t wait to meet them.”, she said taking the glass of tea. “Great. They will love you. I am sure of it. I didn’t tell them about you though. They don’t know you are here. I want it to be a surprise.”, Brian said with a grin. “Oh cool! That is going to be fun. I am going to have some fun with AJ. I’ll introduce myself as Kitty or something! Don’t you blow it for me either!”, she said grabbing his face and turning his head towards hers. “I won’t. I promise. You might have to bribe me with a kiss though.”, he said joking around. “That shouldn’t be a problem.” She kissed him sweetly and then more intensely.
