After we ate our microwave breakfast dinners we all decided to just hang out in the only heated room in the house, the living room. Taylor and I wrapped ourselves in blankets and laid down in each others arms peacefully. Taylor began to rub his head a little as if to sooth pain. "Something wrong?" I asked sitting up so that I could see him in the eye. "My head hurts a little." He told me as he too sat up. I thought for a moment as to where the medicine for headaches would be. "There's some medicine upstairs in my police bag if you want me to get it for you." I asked him. He stood up and stepped on the cold carpeting. "I'll get it." He said walking to the stairs. We walked up them and down the hall to my bedroom. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Taylor walked into Ali's room and saw the black police bag laying by her bed. He sat down on the bed and opened the big pouch of the bag. After looking for some time through it he didn't find it. He noticed another side pocket and turned the bag so he could open it. As he opened the pocket a black pistol fell out causing Taylor to jump to his feet. 'What the heck! Why does Ali have that?!' Taylor thought as he just stared at it. The child lock must have been on it sense it didn't fire off after hitting the floor. The pistol itself was rather small. Big enough to fit into a sock or strap around a persons ankle. Scary thoughts ran through his mind as he began to think up reasons for having such a dangerous weapon on hand. 'Does Al use it for protection? Is she completely insane? How did she get it being under age? Would Ali stupe so low to steal?' He shook his head to shake out the thoughts. "Ali! Come up here a moment!" Tay yelled to the downstairs. He picked the gun up carefully and placed it softly on the desk. He could hear Al's footsteps coming towards the room. When she peered in the room she stopped when she saw Taylor's face and the gun. All of the color drained from her face as she slowly grabbed the door and closed it. "Mind telling me about this?" Taylor asked calmly. She sighed and stepped toward Taylor and the desk. "You wouldn't understand." She answered just above a whisper. She looked to the ground a moment and looked back up with glassy eyes. "I will understand. Please, just tell me." Taylor told her taking her by the shoulders and holding her at arms lenght away. A lone tear rolled down her cheek. "It's too hard and complicated." She said in a small yelling voice. Her loose hands rolled into hard fists but Tay still held her shoulders. "Does it have to do with your dad Ali? If so, then there are other ways." He said matching her tone of voice. The accusation hurt her deeply. She would never resort to violence. She tried to back away but Taylors grip hardened. She looked him in the eyes. "You want to know why?! It has to do with Richard! Are you happy now to learn my most darkest secret!" She screamed at him. He stood there confused and angury. "Just who is Richard Ali?!" Taylor said. 'Maybe I was right when I thought she had a boyfriend' Tay thought to himself. Ali squeezed her eyes shut and opened them looking more calm. "Richard is the man who killed my mother."
