Janine's Encounter

Janine's encounter with Adam Clayton is very interesting!

It's very blurry what actually constitutes "meeting", but i 'met' them (along with a whole crowd of hungry fans) outsides their hotels in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.

My encounter with Adam was probably the most interesting. The entire band had left their hotel in Melbourne, and hit the town for the night, so us fans had quite a few boring hours to fill in before they returned.

One fan was actually staying in the hotel, and through some connection, she actually had the key to the elevator needed to get into the top 2 floors where the band was staying. So we decided to go on a little adventure to take photos outside the Presidential Suite! A bit corny, but seemed like a cheeky fun thing to do at the time.

So we snuck up there, the adrenaline pumping hard, took the darn photo of the darn door, and were just about to jump back into the elevator, when i saw a guy who looked like Adam, walking down the hallway towards us...and blimey! It was Adam.

I'd heard stories about him being a really accommodating guy, so i waved and grinned stupidly, and started walking towards him. He suddenly realised we (5 of us) were a group of U2 fans, swore his head off and bolted back down the hallway. I didn't have time to feel hurt, because out of nowhere Adam's freaky-snake-look-alike body guard appeared, and started abusing the crap out of us for being there. Drilling us on how we had gotten the key to the floor, what were we doing here? Man, i nearly really shat my pants. Fuck i was scared. The others were not impressed with me at all for what i'd done, they had seen Adam too, but knew better, to ignore him! It was thanks to me that when the band came back that night, they did not go out and talk to the fans.

Yeah, i feel pretty bad.

The most horrid thing, was that i kept seeing Adam's scary bodyguard around, like he stood right in front of me in the pit, during the concert and just glared.

Oh well, i never really like Adam anyway. He's so my least favourite. Well, that's my story.
