On a more serious note... I am utterly amazed with the music these four guys can make and I am in awe of Bono's lyrics. He has articulated so many things for me in a way I could only dream of putting down in words. The B-man is a true poet!
I can also die happy now that I have fulfilled my three U2-related dreams:
1) I visited Dublin, Ireland in Easter 2000 and saw all them damn U2 sites, including Bono's and Edge's houses! Sadly, they were not in town that weekend BUT i'm not complaining... I was like like a Beatles fan visiting Abbey Road or Liverpool
2) I MET THEM IN LONDON IN OCTOBER 2001!! God was smiling on me that day that's for sure!
3) I finally saw them in concert (4 times I tell ya!) during the 2nd leg of their Elevation Tour
This shrine is designed to honour the works of U2 and more importantly, it is designed for the participation of fans.
Ah well, off with the horns, on with the show...
Enjoy the shrine!
My obsession with U2 began when I started lusting after Bono when I was about 14 (yes I have been told my taste sucks!) and eventually I actually started listening to them and I was hooked! They've got swagger, they've got swing, they've got the sway and they've got their straws in lemonade!
