-Scaling: Scaling out the wand was harder than the pack. The wand is so 3-dimentional demanding and there is just so much to consider when replicating the pieces. I made wand blue prints out of my scaling work on more trash paper. I did tons of sketches and schematics.
-Grips: Wand handles were scaled off many pics. I took 2 weeks to get them made. The final grips are made off fibber glass and steel apoxy. These required more finishing than anything. There was some refilling and sanding to do. The best example of finishing in the whole pack.
-Side Knobs: There were made out of balsam wood and bondo mounted on a dremel. Solid resin casts are glued to the wand with the same resin.
-Other Accesories: Heat sink, guntip rings and triger, were made out of balsam wood and bondo. The acrylic guntip was made out of a clear plastic hose straighted stiff. The finished gun tip was casted in clear, blubble-free resin.
-Features:
-Working Guntip: by flipping a stick on the barrel, the tip pops out by spring action. Tip can be replaced back by pushing it back in and resetting the activating stick.
-Detailed guntip details: trigger, banjo elbows, tip.
-Fibber glass made: Made off the same stuff cars, boats and airplanes are made and repair off. Strong, finished, hollow body.
-Paint Work: Wand was casted directly in black. Additional paint work was added to age the prop. Fades of Silver, rust and rusted knobs.
