Just in time for the release of his new album, Beck was signed to Interscope Records after being dumped by Geffen as earlier reported. Beth Orton, who just released her debut album Trailer Park, has contributied vocals to the new album being recorded at Beck's home in Pasadena, California. The rapper Kool Keith, know for his work in the 80's rap band The Ultramagnetic MCs and for contributing vocals to Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up, is also rumered to be working with Beck, suggesting that the new album will have just as much as a hip-hop feel as Odelay did.
