The Offspring - Ignition

Even though some concider this a punk CD, I decided to review it. The Offspring are one of my favorite bands!!! Its the seconde release by the Offspring and thier first release on Epitaph Records. The CD starts out with "Session". This is a great fast punk song. Most of the album seems to sound the same at first listen, but after a couple times it begins to sound different, and great! I feel that The Offspring should make more albums like this one. The album never slows down except for half way thorugh with "Dirty Magic", which is a ballad. One song that stood out is "No Hero" which is kind of a depressing song. It is about a kid that commits suicide and Dexter feels guilty because he couldn't save him. Some other songs that stood out were "Get it Right", "Kick Him When He's down", "Nothing From Someting" and "Forever and a Day." If you are an Offspring fan, or even if your not, got get this CD.
