The Offspring

Released 1989, Rereleased 1995

Rating: ****

I have to admit, I am a huge, huge fan of The Offspring. This is the Offspring's first album but it is not the first one that I heard. After hearing thier newer stuff and then listening to the older stuff, most people don't like their older albums. Not Me! This is my favorite album of all time! It just goes from one good song to another. It starts out with the calmest song on the album "Jennifer Lost the War". Then it conitnues with the upbeat tunes of "Elders" and "Out On Patrol." Also on this album is "Beheaded" which is making a comeback. That is because it is featured on the "Idle Hands" soundtrack. The album has some latin parts in song like "Tehran", and "BlackBall". I think the last track on the album was an appropriate choice. It is entitled "Kill the President". I don't know why, but it just seems like the perfect closing song to my favorite album. This CD is a must have to any CD collection.
