Yep, it's true. A chick has actually found it in her heart to *gags* love Nicholas Scott Lachey. (No offense to any Nick L. fans!) And, shockingly enough, she's not a whore OR after his money! (Well, in my opinion anyway.) So, who is she? The answer:
JESSICA SIMPSON!
How do I know this, you may ask? Well, I was cruising the awesome site Sweet 98 (it's on the links page) and I listened to this RealPlayer file of an interview. She didn't say it flat out (on the interview, anyway), but come on, use a lil inference here, children!
1) Her boyfriend is 25, she said.
2) When asked what he did, she said "He's a singer too, so we've both got busy schedules."
3) (this is a total dead giveaway) When asked what group he was in, she said no to BSB and 'N Sync. BUT, when they got to 98*, the closest they got was a "no comment".
4) (got this info via E-mail from Lauren-muchas gracias!) OK, she freaking said it flat out on MTV to John Norris. Satisfied, people?
5) Nick wrote her a special thank-you in the X-mas CD. (Got that from the Gbook--see, I read it!-from Jenna--muchas gracias to her, too!)
Surprisingly enough though, I like her. That song "I Wanna Love You Forever" is really pretty, she has a nice voice, and she doesn't seem like a whore, unlike a certain other person famous for wearing pink fuzzy things, Catholic naughty outfits, and having plastic boobs. However, I won't name names. ;^)
So, my final verdict? I'm happy for them. Nick, Jessica, if either of you guys read this (like that'll ever happen), best wishes. Yeah, yeah, I know, me being nice to Nick and not calling him "OP" or "Ordurve Pickle"... better enjoy it while it lasts. =)
~*NOTE: I recently bought her CD... the duet between her and Nick kicks SO much ass!! She has a really beautiful voice. One peeve, though: You know that song by John Mellencamp, the "Jack and Diane" one? On one of her songs--"I Think I'm In Love With You", for the record--, she totally took that rhythm and used it. But hey, I like her, so I won't be mean or anything about it. I must be getting soft in my old age. =)*~
