Andie was insulated from all the hoopla of Hansonmania.She had eaten dinner at the Hanson house hundreds of times and knew the whole family very well. She even knew where most of the skeletons werer hidden! Over the years she and Tay had teased Zac more times than she cared to remember. On the other hand, the way Ike had teased her was something she wished to forget!
In the spring of 1997 andies father's company relocated them to upstate New York. It was a promotion that he could not turn down. Andie hated leaving the old neighborhood, her friends and tay in particular. Tay had said they would never drift apart and he would visit every chance he got. That helped, but she new it would never be the same. As the years went by Tay kept his promice and every summer andie was invited to stay at the Hansons house. The time they spent together over the summer was so intense, it ended up being more important than all the years before it.
Now andie was not a foolish girl. She had seen girls move into 'Hansonville' as she called the old neighborhood,then become friends with anyone that new the Hansons. She did not want this to happen in N.Y. so she avoided telling anyone she new the ITZ brothers. She even made her parents promice not to tell anyone. She did not even tell her best friends. Not then,Not now,not even after three years!
Andie always played it cool when her friends mentioned anything about Hanson's records or the brothers. Some of her friends thought she was crazy for not liking them more than she let on. Especially the way she acted unimpressed about any gossip of Taylor!
Now Jenni and Sammi were Andies best friends and they both had crushes on Taylor. Andie had met Jenni and Sammi right after moving to N.Y. and they were her closest,dearest friends after Taylor. The fact they were in love with him didn't change a thing. Except for the fact she never told them she grew up with him!
Our story begins the end of june, 1999. Summer vacation has just begun and it's a special one for Andie. Shes going to have her sweet sixteen B-day the end of july. As it turns out, her best friend Sammi is also turning 16 in july..Andie always kidded jenni that she jumped the gun by being born in march.
As a very special Sweet Sixteen birthday present, Taylor said he would stay at Andies house this summer. Andie was thrilled at the thought of having him in ny for 10 weeks. She loved Zac and Ike but they had a way of butting in when she and tay just wanted to be alone. It would be nice to just spend time with Tay for once. This summer was turning out to be the best one of her life! Now if only she could figure out how to tell sammi and Jenni about Taylor it would be perfect!
