I love the American legal system. Right and wrong or guilty or not guilty no longer matters. Case in point example: a woman recently sued Duke University. She tried out for the university's football team. I have no problem with this part of the story, as I completely support women's rights. She was trying out for the position of kicker. Great. She is by no means the first. She was cut from the team. She was suing the university because she believed that she was cut because she was a woman. Big red fucking flag goes up in my head. She sued the university. She won two million dollars. So where's is the injustice here, you ask? She couldn't kick a 35 yard field goal. It was out of her range. She thought that she was cut because she was a woman. And she won two million fucking dollars. I could kick a thirty yard field goal in high school, and I wasn't even on the goddamn football team. An extra point is a 19 yard field goal. I don't know a single man on earth that would hear that and not just shake his head at the unfairness of that. If she can't make a 35 yard field goal it's a cut and dry case. I happen to agree with her. She was cut from the team because she was a woman. A woman that couldn't kick a thirty five yard field goal.
