3-21-01--Well, I finally remembered the password to the site, but that doesn't really matter anymore. As I'm sure you all know by now, Phidget is Kaput. They parted for reasons unknown to the general public quite some time ago. There is a rumor floating around that Jay moved to Haiti with a new lady friend, but I know nothing about this. Leland has moved on to drumming for another local band, "I Share the Dream", and I have NO CLUE what happened to ol' Tammy. Loop-E, temporary 2nd guitarist for the band has since moved on to several different bands of the death metal persuasion. Phidget had a reunion show in Columbia a couple of months back with "ISTD", but I was unable to attend. Oh well. Here's to Phidget. They were cool while they lasted.

4-7-01--j here! who misses phidget? well i do! life goes on. i hope you'll still give our disks a spin every once in a while. some will be happy to hear that i'm working on some new stuff and plan to record a new album this summer. very few details to pass on, most all of the instruments will be played by me, my bros gonna record it at PLANET ELEVEN and hopefully i can talk him and some of the kids from GRACE into throwin down some tracks! it will likely be about 8 to 10 songs. some of the unrecorded Phidget stuff (smoke, dislocated, this year?) some songs i played with the group "Pretty" (leaving today, song for k, refrain) and some new songs including my new favorites "meanwhile" and "where the ocean meets the sky". there will also be a cover song and all i can tell you is its SEXY! until then check out some memories of the PHIDGET REUNION SHOW! i had so much fun. thanks to the band, and all of the friends that gathered to watch! i couldn't believe how many of you showed up, it was quite the mix of people, some i hadn't seen in years! extra special thanks to Leland for hooking it all up and being a true friend for all these years. go see I Share the Dream and witness the most rockin' drummer in the land!
