This is the part of the tour where we usually handle questions and answers about Regular Einstein. Not YOUR questions, of course, but questions that have already been asked. We find that way we know what the answers are going to be.
Question: | How'd you get your name? |
David: | We were all sitting around the lab one night...trying to come up with a name for the band. I came up with Three Guys and A Chick. Andy laughed at me and said, "Gee--what a GENIUS idea! You're a regular Einstein, you are!"
|
Question: | Is your publishing company [HMS Beagle] named after your dog? |
Paula: | No you yutz--it was the name of the boat Charles Darwin took to the Galapagos Islands where he validated some of his theories on natural selection and survival of the fittest.
|
Question: | What cities in the U.S. would you most like to play? |
Andy: | David wants to play Scranton and Trenton [PA], Paula'd like to play Hannibal, Missouri--the birthplace of Samuel Clemens aka Mark Twain. John's always going on and on (and on) about Colonial Williamsburg, and me? I'd like a tour of the southeast...Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Albany, Georgia, Venice, Florida and maybe swing over to Sweet Water, Texas.
|
Question: | Is mom really up on the roof? |
Paula: | I'm sorry, I can't comment on that at this time.
|
Question: | Where IS Einstein's brain? |
John: | ALBERT Einstein was cremated after his death on April 18, 1955. The doctor who performed the autopsy removed Einstein's brain, part of which now rests in a bottle somewhere in Weston, Missouri. Albert Einstein (1879-1955) was the principal founder of modern theoretical physics; his theory of relativity (speed of light is a constant and not relative to the observer or source of light), and the relationship of mass and energy (E=mc2), fundamentally changed human understanding of the physical world. His stature as a scientist, together with his strong humanitarian stance on major political and social issues, made him one of the outstanding men of the twentieth century.
