John is the founding father and leader of Delirious Tremors. He is
the artist of the group, being very creative and somewhat shy in front
of an audience. He loves his craft and shows enthusiasm in all his
endeavors. He is known by many people around the Northeast Ohio area as "John the
Jeweler," and many of his clients refer to him as "my jeweler." John
sidestepped a possible music career to go to jewelers school and is so
admired for his artisanship that he has more work than he can handle. He
is striving to break out of the routine with Delirious Tremors. As if goldsmithing, diamond setting and music weren't enough, John also has a large vegetable garden, grows Christmas trees, and brews his own beer. He is a busy man, and these experiences lend themselves to his music. Songs like Hole in My Pocket and Basement Band roll out of John's personal experience in a way that is understandable by all of us. By the way, the beer is great!
In addition to playing guitar, John programs and activates synthesized
MIDI sounds through the guitar and lends his low, gravelly vocals to many
Delirious Tremors' songs. His major life's goal is to be a professional
musician and with the vehicle now in place, there is nothing to stop this
43-year-old.
John, a Virgo was born in Akron, Ohio in 1956 and currently resides
on his farm. He says of Delirious Tremors, "This is my chance
to achieve a life long ambition, so we have to go for it now and anyone
who isn't on board had better get out of the way."
