YES' RENAISSANCE

March, 1996: Yes' classic or quintessential line-up records a concert in San Luis Obispo, California. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend. However, I am able to thoroughly enjoy Yes' renaissance or so to speak! The fruits of these concerts and additional tracks created by the "classic" group which consists of: the ethereal vocalist and harpist Jon Anderson, the drummer and percussionist extraordinaire-Alan White, the superb bass guitarist-Chris Squire, the keyboardist extraordinaire-Rick Wakeman and of course, former member of Asia, guitar virtuoso-Steve Howe. This lineup was responsible for what may just happen to be Yes' best studio album-Tales From Topographic Oceans, which is represented beautifully by the second track from Keys-"The Revealing Science Of God." Additionally, Yes has gathered together "Close To The Edge," "And You And I" and "Siberian Khatru" and "Starship Trooper" and "I've Seen All Good People", "Roundabout", also "Turn Of The Century," "Going For The One" and my personal favorite-"Awaken", also Time And A Word. Additionally, there are 7 new studio cuts, namely: "That That Is," "Be The One," and "Mind Drive," "Footprints," "Bring Me To The Power," "Children Of Light (including: "Children Of Light" and "Lifeline") and "Sign Language are all superb cuts. All 5 of these extraordinary players create what is in my opinion-Yes' two best albums! I am so enthusiastic about these two albums, that I am attempting to find the imported copy of the 4 cd set which is available in Europe!
