l think Galaxy is a song about how the world is getting more wack as the years go by, conditions are getting worse as technology advances... and so on. And l think they're basically saying if we all come together as one that we can all help make all the wrongs in the world right

i totally love the song beatiful diaster, there is something that i love about that line, you know what nick is saying but yet the too words totally contrast each other. In my interpretation, bd is about an old friendship or relationship which is going down the drain anyways that Nick, or whoever's point of view its from wants to end. "One with old wood creaking it would burn away right on cue." Itseems like he's indiferent at the begining cuz he's like "today seems like agood day" like today seems like a good day, why today? why anyother day? Then the tone changes. He says he doesn't try to be hurtful and cause otherspain and stuff, but he knows that this has to be the end because he can't stayin the friendship anylonger because the other person isn't there, or is adjerk or something along those lines. "I try to be not like that, but somepeople really suck." And then he says when things like that happen, you haveto go on, 'just chalk it up to bad luck.'Emmm.... I'm not quite sure about the next verse, acually, i have not a clue.The chorus, i think is the person who was at the other end of the relationshipw/ the "old wood creaking." Hey What up Unity- I've got a question for ya. I know that you guys all say that the song "Electricity" was originally "Fuck the KKK". The first time I heard the song "What Was I Thinking" I thought that was originally "Fuck the KKK". If you replace the chorus "What was I Thinking uh uh" it could also be "Fuck a the K K uh uh". I thought that 311, rethought the idea of song about hating someone. It is like they would be going just as low as the original haters. Then the lyrics just tie in the whole theme. : "The word that I heard was so absurd - I can't believe it slipped from my lips - The tongue with which it was sung was so dumb - I wish to pull it from my skull - What the Fuck was I thinking?" Just an idea- sorry if someone already mentioned this, let me know what you think.
