Girlfriends: Past, Present, and Untrue

Even though it is really none of the public's business, everybody likes to know about the goings-on in show business. This section documents 'N Sync's girlfriends of past, present, and rumor oblivion.

Like all men, the guys of 'N Sync have girlfriends, crushes, and things to say about the female species. Here is where you can find this information. I shall document each boy starting with Justin and going down the name 'N Sync.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE

Case #1: GIRLFRIEND Name: VERONICA FINN

Background: Member of girl-group Innosense, managed by mother of Timberlake; known by Timberlake on the 'N Sync debut album cover as his "Huckleberry Finn." Relationship Status: Defunct

Case #2: GIRLFRIEND Name: BRITNEY SPEARS

Background: Teen-pop sensation, number one single and album making music history; on MMC with Timberlake and Chasez; on tour with 'N Sync in 1998. Relationship Status: Allegedly current, possible although not proven. Both deny the allegation strongly, although many observations have been made putting truth to the rumor.

Case #3: CRUSHES Names: TYRA BANKS, JANET JACKSON, SANDRA BULLOCK

Case #4: QUOTE "Confidence... always attracts me. The way she presents herself, if she's confident in herself and not too insecure. On the other hand, it has to be within a certain limit. She can't be too cocky. She also must have a sense of humor. I like somebody who likes to have fun. I'm a hopeless romantic, but I don't like to be boring all the time, like 'Let's just go out to dinner'. I like to do fun stuff. I like to do things out of the blue, like 'Hey, let's go bungee jumping' or 'Hey, let's go rock climbing'. I like to be spontaneous."

CHRIS KIRKPATRICK

Case #1: GIRLFRIEND Name: AMANDA LATORA

Background: A former member of Innosense; now leads a career as a solo performer. Relationship Status: Defunct

Case #2: GIRLFRIEND Name: DANIELLE (LAST NAME UNKNOWN)

Background: A girl of anonymity, she made her debut in 'N Sync's "I Drive Myself Crazy" video as Kirkpatrick's girlfriend. Relationship Status: Allegedly Current; neither has commented.

Case #3: CRUSH Name: GWEN STEFANI

Case #4: QUOTE "...A very beautiful smile. Her eyes and smile are what say it all to me. Of course everyone wants to go out with a great personality. Mostly someone you click with. Somebody who completes your sentences."

JOSEPH FATONE, JR.

Case #1: GIRLFRIEND Name: DANAY FERRER

Background: A member of the girl group Innosense, managed by Timberlake's mother. Relationship Status: Defunct

Case #2: GIRLFRIEND Name: LENE NYSTROM

Background: Lead singer of Aqua, band of "Barbie Girl" fame. Relationship Status: Defunct

Case #3: GIRLFRIEND Name: JENNIFER PAIGE

Background: Solo singer who struck gold with the popularity of her first single "Crush"; seen on "'N The Mix" video riding a rollercoaster, sitting next to Fatone Relationship Status: Alleged relationship; if it was valid it is now defunct

Case #4: GIRLFRIEND Name: KATHY GRIFFIN

Background: Stand-up comedienne who also has a lead role in NBC's sitcom "Suddenly Susan"; met 'N Sync at December 1998's Billboard Music Awards where she stole the show with a controversial kissing scene with Bass. Relationship Status: Allegedly current, although most signs point to sarcasm and that there was and is never any kind of real relationship

Case #5: CRUSHES Names: PAMELA ANDERSON LEE, ANNA NICOLE SMITH, DEMI MOORE

Case #6: QUOTE "A fun girl who enjoys company, can take a joke, and likes going to the movies. I like girls who aren't afraid to speak their mind. I don't really have a type. I like women with long hair, short hair, red hair, dark hair - it doesn't matter! Just make sure to be yourself."

LANCE BASS

Case #1: GIRLFRIEND Name: DANIELLE FISHEL

Background: Star of ABC's popular sitcom "Boy Meets World", this is the only current relationship that any 'N Sync member has admitted to having; recently traveled to Cancun with Bass. Relationship Status: Recently defunct

Case #2: CRUSHES Names: JENNIFER ANISTON, KELLY PACKARD (from "California Dreams")

Case #3: QUOTE "I like the innocent-type girls, not too goody-goody but ones that respect themselves. I like a religious girl. Someone that keeps herself up and someone who could e a big supporter to me and someone who just has a good time. I also like someone who could take a joke and is fun to be with - someone adventurous like me who's willing to go parasailing and stuff... also someone who is loving and cute."

JOSHUA SCOTT CHASEZ

Case #1: GIRLFRIEND Name: MANDY ASHFORD

Background: Member of girl-group Innosense, run by mother of Timberlake; rumor has it that this relationship was broken up by A.J. McLean of Backstreet Boys in the late-summer of 1998. Relationships Status: Defunct

Case #2: GIRLFRIEND Name: STACEY FERGUSON

Background: Member of girl-group Wild Orchid; toured with 'N Sync in 1998. Relationships Status: Alleged relationship; if it was valid it is now defunct

Case #3: GIRLFRIEND Name: NIKKI DELOACH

Background: Member of Innosense, managed by Timberlake's mother; on MMC with Chasez and Timberlake Relationship Status: Defunct

Case #4: GIRLFRIEND Name: BOBBI (LAST NAME UNKNOWN)

Background: A girl of anonymity, she made her debut in 'N Sync's "I Drive Myself Crazy" video as Dr. Bobbi Kravitz. Relationship Status: Allegedly current; pictures (such as the one above) have been seen of the two together although neither has commented on the allegation

Case #5: CRUSHES Names: NAOMI CAMPBELL, JANET JACKSON, MICHELLE PFIEFFER

Case #6: QUOTE "...Fun, because I work all the time. I need someone who's going to show me a good time, because I'm always so focused. I need somebody who brings a little fun out of me - somebody who makes me laugh. And someobdy who will make me want to do things for her."
