'N Sync News Updates

Have you been out of the loop with the precious 'N Sync boys? I'll do my best to fill you in!

On September 5th, there will be a Mickey Mouse Club marathon on the Disney channel. I don't know how long it will be, but it will be the new cast, not the 1950's or 1970's one. Keep your eyes peeled. ..... The song that 'N Sync recorded with Gloria Estefan is entitled "Music of my Heart." It's a lovely song, I like it very much, and I think it's my personal favorite 'N Sync ballad. If you haven't heard it yet, it will be all over the radio very soon, I'm sure. If I can find it on the net, I'll let you know. If you can, let me know! Either way, it will be performed at the Teen Choice Awards on Fox on August 12th. ..... 'N Sync has a new album coming out called "No Strings Attached". They're apprently finishing recording it now. They will also have a new home video coming out on September 28th, with concert performances and sneak previews of the new album. Go get it. ..... 'N Sync has cancelled and postponed some tour dates during the last leg of their current tour. They did this in order to finish recording "No Strings Attatched". Weird, because they've already laid down like 30 songs. How many do they need!? ..... Whoa, little newsflash for y'all Lance fans out there. I know I'm posting this about an hour after I updated this section earlier, and because I'm not positive that it's true I can't take down the below news, but I recently heard from a reliable source that Lance and Topanga are taking a break. Look at that. Wonder if she'll go running back to Matthew Lawrence in the meantime. ..... So Lance and Topanga are together. We do know this, Lance came right out and said so on the Teen People 21 Under 21. How very tricky of him. I just don't know about those two crazy cats, but I must tell you that I think that Topanga is far less annoying than Britney. Grrr. Also, I read in some random Topanga interview somewhere on the good ol' internet that Justin and Britney are dating and the whole bunch of the guys and their girlfriends go on dates together. Then again, a source of mine (AnnaJstn31@aol.com) told me that Justin may be dating a Hillfiger model. Britney is a Hillfiger model... True? I don't know. I'll keep you posted, but personally, I think that the day that Justin admits to dating ANYBODY is the day that the apocalypse comes. I'M JUST KIDDING, by the way, for the people out there that believe me. I don't think that the apocalypse will come. It was a joke. ..... The Pay-Per-View concert is now scheduled for September. Is it EVER going to happen!? ..... Well, I believe that it is quite official now. There's this Herbal Essences contest that if you win, you get to go see a concert on 'N Sync's tour in 2000. That means that ladies, you'll have more chances to see 'N Sync live! ..... Extra, extra, read all about it... the "Tarzan" soundtrack with 'N Sync collaborating with Phil Collins came out today. My thoughts? It's expensive (all the Disney soundtracks are) so copy your cousin's. It's only one song! ..... Hmmmm, seems like 'N Sync's thin skin has come out... they were in the Mall of America at an autograph signing with thousands of people waiting, and they cut the afternoon hours short when a water baloon was thrown at them. Weren't they the ones with the water guns on stage? ..... Well, this is nice. Read on:

It appears that 'N Sync will go where Marilyn Manson would not.

The shock-rocker canceled his Friday night appearance at a radio-station concert in Denver out of respect for the tragedy at Columbine High School in suburban Littleton, Colo. 'N Sync, who are performing Friday in Colorado Springs, will meet with students in Littleton to discuss the situation.

"We're going on our own to talk to a lot of kids — the victims in hospitals — and just have a big question-and-answer period," singer Lance Bass told Wall of Sound earlier this week. "We're going to try to counsel the kids that lived through this."

Bass said the singers will meet with professional counselors this morning to prepare for their session with the students. "I think we have such a great thing right now, being their age," Bass said. "I think they can relate a lot better to us than a lot of adult counselors."

He said the shootings have "really scared" young people around the country. "We try to comfort them. The biggest thing we can do is talk about it."

..... As you know, they're going to make a movie. Well, production will start in October, and they want to make it like "Swingers." They want to be characters, not play themselves. ..... A Playstation game is in the works about 'N Sync! Scary. ..... Britney is now apparently being accused of sexual harassment on a young boy from Louisiana. Justin, how are you feeling now? Huh? Huh? ..... Did anyone else see the VH1 special on 'N Sync, Tori Amos, and Boyz 2 Men? I did, it was entertainment at its best - I would just like to say that I loved the fact that the clip they showed of Chris acting was his kissing scene with that girl... it was very fake looking, I was in stitches! Also, we saw Justin perform, good stuff there - Britney was there, looked skanky even then, and we saw JC's MMC audition. It was fabulous! I was laughing the whole time. ..... Aw, isn't this special. 'N Sync re-recorded GMHSALMTOY, only this time it was the backup vocals, while Alabama did the leads. That should be interesting, but I read the article about it and I concluded from the quotes that at least Justin and JC (those are the only quoted guys) are really excited about this! ..... Well, frankly, I am shocked at this next item, and it makes me slightly ashamed to live in Connecticut... anyway, due to the massive support by KC101 (a local radio station) listeners that agreed to sign a petition, the governor and a state representative decided to make March 13th officially 'N Sync day. Why March 13th? Because that day they played the New Haven Coliseum, a concert that I did attend with good seats... click here to read all about it! Anyway, they were honored in a ceremony at 5:30 that day in the Coliseum. Is it just me, or should Florida have the 'N Sync day, not Connecticut? Well, we have one, so what can I do? .....
