You think you know what 'N Sync's songs mean? Well, maybe you do, but on the offchance that you don't, here are MY explanations.
TEARIN' UP MY HEART
The guy isn't interested in the girl for herself, now he only wants her for the booty and he lets her know how much he wants it.
I JUST WANNA BE WITH YOU
He is seriously hormonal and wants to be gettin' jiggy with his woman cause he'll do it right... I won't even go into the "Full Force" solo.
HERE WE GO
This is essentially 'N Sync's self-promotion song, although used for the WNBA and "A Bug's Life." As much as I hate to say it, it is also sort of a Xerox of BSB's "Everybody." Which I love, don't get me wrong. Anyway, going deep into it and erasing all the times they say "'N Sync," the guy is saying to the girl, "Yo, if you wanna get down wit yo bad self, come to me cuz it's all goin' on here." Wow, that was darn fun to write.
FOR THE GIRLWHO HAS EVERYTHING
This girl has everything (duh) but love, which is the only thing she can't buy. Mr. Romance wants to give it to her. Similar to Jordan Knight.
GOD MUST HAVE SPENT A LITTLE MORE TIME ON YOU
Whomever this guy is singing to is very special because obviously he or she is very miraculous and eprfect - a good song to tell anyone you love them.
YOU GOT IT
This guy is getting funky with his girlfriend really soon (as JC tells us in the beginning) and he forewarns her that he's pretty crazy... in bed, I guess... but she'll want it as much as he wants her.
I NEED LOVE
One of those classic "You don't want to die a virgin" songs when the guy says that she needs love and of course he has it. A pattern? I think so. Notice that the guy has what the girl wants/needs in almost every song? I did.
I WANT YOU BACK
The guy was a jerk and now he wants his old girlfriend back and he feels really stupid. He seems to be too dense to apologize, so he's essentially stalking her, but in a romantic and cute way in hope that she'll give him a second chance.
EVERYTHING I OWN
Seeing as this isn't a new song (it's a cover of Bread's 1970's hit), I can't fairly analyze it but I'll give it my best shot. It's very similar to "I Want You Back" but we don't know that this guy was stupid. Anyway, she was the guy's savior, apparently, and he's so in love that he would give anything to have her back again.
I DRIVE MYSELF CRAZY
There are many ways a guy can drive himself crazy in bed, thinking about a girl, but being pure little Emily, I won't be dirty now... I'll leave that to your own minds to work out. He's going nuts because he missed his big chance with his honey and now is when he wants her, when it's too late.
CRAZY FOR YOU
The guy's calling to Cupid to make a particular girl his soulmate because even though it's so hard for him to be in love, he's in love with her and he wants to shake his groove thang with her.
SAILING
Again, another cover of an old song (Christopher Cross made a hit of this one in the 80's) but here I go - thinking of this girl is the guy's routeout of reality and everything in his personal dreamland is beautiful and sets him free. This is a really pretty song. I like it. Plus, in concert, they fly.
GIDDY UP
This is 'N Sync's only self-composed song on their entire elbum and it's really raunchy. Tells me something; how about you!? Anyway, their relationship stinks, as in he thinks that she's cheating on him and is an overall awful person. Apparently, the way for her to make it up to him is by... well, really making it up to him. Go with it, don't question!
Well, do you have your own ideas about the songs that 'N Sync has done - these or any others? Please email me and I'll be sure to use them! Thanks!
