| G-Pro Zip | A dramatic song with acoustic guitar, jazz guitar, bass, distortion guitar, drums, vocals, and harmonies. Ever notice that whenever things just start to go well, it all has to end? | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A fairly unique sounding song featuring acoustic guitar accompaniment, jazz guitar leads, distortion guitar leads, bass guitar, power guitar, and drums and vocals. A fairly prog-rockish ballad, it is dynamic in sound and has three completely different guitar solos. Definitely check it out. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | Inspired after reading a book about Sitting Bull, this song is an abstract about 19th century America. It begins with somewhat dark-sounding acoustic guitar and vocals, and eventually bass and drums kick in with underlying electric lead. It then ends on about two minutes of understated electric guitar and fades out. Both musically and lyrically, I am happy with how it turned out. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | This is an intricate, mostly up-tempo piano piece, with occasional bass and drums. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | This is a pretty power ballad with four guitars. A nice mix of acoustic guitar, electric lead, and power chords. Overall, it is well-crafted and I'm very happy with how it turned out. | |||||
| Summer 2000 Set | ||||||
| G-Pro Zip | This is a really big sounding song, complete with a full orchestra in the intro. I love how all of the sounds blend in this one--brass, guitars, piano, recorder, etc. It also includes some strong drums. The lyrics are about two connected concepts: loneliness and nostalgia. Major Prog Rock, but it sounds funny on some other synthesizers. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A nice blend of acoustic guitar, power chords, dual vocals, and slightly changing tempo bring out this song about a turn-of-the-century immigrant woman. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | This is a Progressive Rock instrumental. Spacey-synth, bass, and drums back acoustic guitar, electric guitar and keys. Varying tempo and heaviness. It also features 4/4 and 6/8 time. There are many parts weaved in this song, some that really rock and some that are nearly classical. This one is definitely worth a listen! | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | This is a short instrumental with acoustic guitar, drums, bass, and keys. It has a unique chord progression. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | Straight-up rock with many guitars, this song is about people who are too caught up in their work and other problems that they forget about life and the people around them. One part is reminiscent of late 60's British rock, such as the Yardbirds. It also has a neat 3/4 Prog Rock bass part and an extended guitar solo near the end. (Note: On some synthesizers, the vocal line may not come through clearly.) | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | I took the X-Files theme song by Chris Carter and rocked it up one day when I was bored. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A very personal song dedicated to a great friend. | |||||
| Second Semester | ||||||
| G-Pro Zip | A reworking of Centuries, with rhythm guitar, better drums, different synths (including bagpipes), and other changes. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A good one for strumming, strong bass, and dual vocals on the refrain. It ends on an extended guitar solo. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A short little tune, featuring soft-guitar and vocal harmonies. | |||||
| First Semester | ||||||
| G-Pro Zip | A slow dance song. Ivan Grimm wrote the lyrics for the verses--inspired by "Like Water for Chocolate," a Spanish movie. Slowly builds up and includes a soft guitar solo. | |||||
| Summer '99 Set | ||||||
| N/A | A sad song. It starts out soft and plain, then picks up. Includes guitar and piano solos. Changing meter and dual vocals, too. | |||||
| N/A | An instrumental reprise of Centuries, with piano, guitar, synth, and timpani parts. | |||||
| N/A | A fast-paced danceable sort of song. Way overdone, including a key change. | |||||
| N/A | Inspired by my high school graduation and leaving town. Rather straightforward except for one odd part. | |||||
| N/A | Inspired by a former special someone. Mostly a light song, but includes a progressive part, too. | |||||
| Mill Street Days | ||||||
| N/A | A short brass instrumental inspired by a good day. | |||||
| N/A | This song was inspired, of course, by the events in Kosovo. The changing meter includes 4/4, 11/8, 6/8, and 3/4. There is some pretty brass and charged bass. | |||||
| N/A | Over eight minutes long, this includes a part, "No Longer Let Me Languish," by some 19th century Italian composer. This was very overdone, but it was fun to make. | |||||
| N/A | An extremely layered instrumental including brass, a couple of guitar parts, banjo, piano, and bass guitar. It definitely has a big sound. | |||||
| Early Prog Rock | ||||||
| N/A | The first part is very depressing. It is dynamic and has a guitar solo. The second half is more uplifting and is somewhat reminiscent, though it still needs some work. | |||||
| N/A | This one is out there--heavy Prog Rock influence. The lyrics deal with a time travelling concept that I was thinking about. Use of many instruments, including a barrage of sitars. | |||||
| N/A | For the lyrics, I just wrote down whatever came to my head at the moment. Electronic brass section, epic sound quality, some neat drums, guitar solo. It could use some cleaning up. | |||||
| N/A | This was my first (successful) major composition. Changing meter, hard to soft sound, up-tempo with sudden drop back down, nice instrumental near the middle. | |||||
| N/A | This is a rearrangement of the Beatles' song by Paul McCartney with an intro that includes bits of other McCartney work such as Hey Jude, Yesterday, etc. and also Admiral Halsey, then it segues into Get Back, in minor and slowed down with heavy sound. | |||||
| Early Tinkerings | ||||||
| N/A | This is a nice, short little tune that I've arranged in 3 different ways, perhaps to be spaced out on an album some day. | |||||
| N/A | This is the first one I did. It's not too great, but I decided to put it on this page anyways. | |||||
| N/A | This was just me having fun. I took Neil Young's "Til the Morning Comes," slowed it down, put it in minor, and added a bass line. | |||||
| N/A | My first tinkerings in MIDI. Sitting in my homeroom--the chemistry room--in high school one day, I was pondering a title for this song. From above, I saw the words "Molar Volume." The rest is history. hehehe | |||||

| N/A | This song sucks. (Hey, I'm honest!) It does include a complicated piano part and stuff, but the best way to describe it is "Halloweenish." | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | An up-tempo Prog pop song, I suppose. With various guitars, keys, and brass. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A bluesy electric jam. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A repetitive, eery instrumental that builds up one instrument at at time. Acoustic guitar, bass, electric guitar, brass, flute, synth, and drums | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | Riff rock, sort of, with a 'space-out' kind of instrumental near the end. There are no lyrics. Written with Ivan Grimm. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | An attempt at a rocker, I used some parts later in another song. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | An experiment with electric guitar (power chords) and synthesizer parts. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A friend of mine (Vince Berrettini) came up with a repetitive piano part one day, and I liked it, so I added some other parts to it and this is the result. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | The beginnings of a vocal piece with accompanying guitar. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A haunting, unfinished piece with nylon guitar, synth, and drums. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | Electric guitar, classical guitar, timpani, bass, and drums. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | Acoustic guitar in Open A tuning. | |||||
| G-Pro Zip | A nearly fully developed guitar rocker. Maybe I'll finish it some day when I get motivated. | |||||
