August 1968-May 1970

(l-r) Danny Kirwan, Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood, Jeremy Spencer, John McVie.

This is the probably the most well-known, if not infamous, lineup of the pre-Rumours Fleetwood Mac. This is the lineup that
recorded Mr. Wounderful in 1968, English Rose, which featured the British #1 singles "Albatross" and "Black Magic
Woman," later a worldwide hit for Santana, in 1969, and the superb Then Play On (which my father thinks is one of the
top 50 albums of all time), also in 1969. Many other albums (hits and live) have been released featuring this lineup; most
recently the 2-CD set Live at the BBC.
