Recorded between Sept. 1993 and Jan. 1994, the self-titled debut album "Hot Water Music" is a collection 11 of the band's best songs, and was produced at 4th Street Recording by Jim Wirt, producer of "The Uninvited". Bam Magazine had this to say in their review: "With its engaging 12-string guitar and layered vocals, Hot Water Music's 'Make A Wish' is a traditional folk-rock track with a pop appeal that is immediate and striking. [The album] is polished and eclectic. There's talent here!"
