Where the doors and hallways meet. Make yourself at home.
The Music Room: Me as a musician.
This is my main gig. Check out Jealous Muse, my debut CD.
Find out what I have to say about it, what others have to say about it,
and follow the links to hear it for yourself. The folks at Musicians
On The Internet (MOI) do a bang-up job with RealAudio files, so
I just let them deal with song samples, lyrics, and other official hoopla.
The Gallery: Me as a graphic artist.
When I was a kid, my parents always wanted me to have a reliable income.
Parents are like that. So when they found out I was planning to persue
a career in music, they were...concerned. They would prefer I choose something
more reliable. So I'm also an artist, just to be safe. I aim to please.
(A note to other artists whose loved ones are giving them a hard time about
career choice: pretend you're going to be a musician instead—they'll soon
be begging you to pick up those brushes!)
The Guest Room: Me as a host.
This is probably the room that will change most often. I will keep
the doors revolving, so stop by often to see some of the people and things
I'm crazy about. For instance, other songwriters (Dar Williams, Pooka,
Vyktoria Pratt Keating, Nick Drake...). What do they have in common?
What do they have to do with me? What do they have to do with Xena & Gabrielle?
The Summer Home: Me on vacation.
Fun and games at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival. Soon to come,
fun and games at the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival. Anything else
pertaining to fun and games.
The Observatory: Me as a guide.
My personal telescope, guiding you to some important and fascinating
points of interest out in the vastness of cyberspace. There are "billions
and billions" of sites out there. If you're interested in contemporary,
independent music, this should narrow the view a bit.
