Welcome to my concert review!!
The second concert for the Backstreet Boys in Toronto was going to be at the Maple Leaf Gardens arena.
I couldn't wait. My dad got me tickets and they were great seats. Second row on the floor. We were so close to the
stage.
I couldn't wait to get in so we went to Maple Leaf Gardens at 5:30pm. There were already alot of people lining
up to get in. The doors opened at around 6:30pm and we went to our seats. When we got in I couldn't believe how good our seats
were. Then another surprise happened. I looked up on stage and guess who was sitting there!!! A.J McLean!!!!
He's my favorite and he was sitting right in front of me. I stood up and said, "Oh my God, you're A.J!!"
He started to laugh and said,"Yes, I am!" I was so embarrassed, but I got to talk to him and I got his picture
and his autograph. That was the best.
The show started at 7:30pm and the guest was a guy named Clentt Lewis. He is on the Groove Essntiels CD here in
Canada. At about 8:10 the Backstreet Boys came in and they started to sing very cutely, "If you're happy and you know it
clap your hands." A.j had recovered from his "little" accident in Montréal. (He got his foot ran over by a van
and couldn't dance for the other concerts) He was dancing with all the other guys as if his accident never happened.
Then they started to sing "We've got it goin' on."
At this concert, they sang solos again. Brian sang, "One last cry." That was cute. He had a little table with a lamp and a picture
of a girl. It was sweet. Nick sang "Heaven." He had on a nice green velvet suit and he sang beautifully. I almost cried.
Howie sang "Betcha by golly wow" by Prince. He sang it very well. He had on a nice suit too. It was like Nick's, but his
was purple. Kevin sang "Nobody but you." One of their songs that Kevin sings most of it. I think it's going to be on the new album.
I don't remember what A.J sang, but he had on a red velvet suit with a really cool black hat.
At the starting of the show the BSB's manager came out on stage and said that Nick wouldn't be coming out on stage tonight. He strated to say
"want to know why???", "Because I've got his underwear!!" He showed a pair os BSB boxers and shot the out to the crowd. They were torn to pieces
within minutes.
This was a awesome concerts and it was way longer than the first one. I have to say I liked this concert alot better than the first one in Toronto.
