Hello, and welcome to my Lush home page. Lush were a four person British band on 4AD records. They were: Miki Berenyi-Vocals, Guitar. Emma Anderson-Guitar, Vocals. Phil King-Bass,(formerly Steve Rippon up until Spooky was released) and Chris Acland-Drums. Meriel Barham of Pale Saints was a member until late 1988. Unfortunately, in October 1996 Chris committed suicide so the band are now split up (see news for more details.)
Hi. I'm back, older and wiser (19 next week) and updating the site again. On the Lush front, there's been quite a lot of activity (see news), so that's why. I have decided to stop putting Sing-Sing stuff up now, mainly because there is an official site which does it better! (See links). I will keep the old Sing-Sing articles up though, because I spent ages (well, not that long) typing them up! I have also decided to get rid of the sounds section, for no good reason, to be honest. (Although Geocities took my site down for a while due to too much data transfer and this may have been the problem). As time goes on, and if I get more material, there might be further updates. Also, a plea: If any member of Lush reads this, and can correct me anywhere, can you e-mail me and tell me? It would be very much appreciated! My address is at the bottom of the page (thats changed too.)
