I won't put in the Younger Younger 28's review, but suffice to say it's brilliant, which is obviously where the title comes from:) Read on:
While all that's glittering in the pop firmament, Sing - Sing will still be way out in the suburbs of the top 40.. It's not for want of trying, mind you. Their pocketbook symphonies, like last year's "Feels Like Summer", have the saccharine vocals, the swirling organ motifs and the driving Motown beat that puts a spring in your step, and when they get on the good foot, it's a fine place to be. Their ballads, however, are rice-paper thin, insubstantial affairs. Yeah, they'll never have a hit, they'll never grace the world stage and they'll all have to find proper jobs in the next year, bless 'em, but for now they can keep on making these upbeat treasures.
