The Skinnydippers - Andy & Trish - release their debut CD Take This Road on 20 March. The CD features 13 tracks, mostly written by Andy, and a cover painting by Trish. Summer Gigs 2004
Uncle John's Band played our first gig of 2004 on Sunday 18 January at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth, with Wayne Morris on drums and special guest Don Weir (no relation) on lead guitar for several numbers. Sound was provided by Mark Dawson. Our second gig on 2 February was rained off. We will be performing at the Cancer Society's Relay For Life at Yarrows Stadium, New Plymouth on Saturday 13 March.

The Skinnydippers performed at Puke Ariki museum, New Plymouth on Saturday 28 February, as part of the opening ceremony of Uncovered, an exhibition looking at 40 years of recording in Taranaki. Our short set included songs from both Take This Road and the Small Town CD. Sandy was unable to join us but Wayne Morris helped out on drums and Phil Bowering on bass, allowing Andy a chance to play some guitar. Peter and Deb joined us for "Bad Woman."

Trish's page
Trish's page has finally been revamped and now features both pottery and paintings. Trish's exhibition, Ancestral Routes, opened at Kina Art & Design, New Plymouth on 5 March and runs until the end of the month. To go to Trish's page, click here.

Uncle John's Bald! (or Skinhead-dipper)
In the lead-up to the Relay For Life, Andy took part in a sponsored head-shave for the Cancer Society on 27 February, personally raising over $900. He performed with the Skinnydippers the following night at Puke Ariki (see Summer Gigs above).
