GIRLS UNDER GLASS formed around about 1986, from an earlier band by the name of ‘CALLING DEAD RED ROSES’. (This earlier band has been described by some as a slower version of the ‘THE SISTERS OF MERCY’.

The music of GUG has been described as anything from Gothic to Electronic to Darkwave. In brief, the music of GUG is anything from heavy guitar stuff to lighter, and much softer material. From this description I guess you can conclude their music is diverse.

PROJECT PITCHFORK – this one is no side project, the band has been going since 1993, but members of GUG have been involved in it.

So I have a few things to say at the conclusion of reading this:

Firstly, GIRLS UNDER GLASS is a great band, which I highly recommend (so go out and buy every CD they have ever released, you’re guaranteed to find something you like).

Secondly, TRAUMA is also a very good band And secondly, congratulations, you made it through all of my type.
