~Chapter 5~
"Ashley, wait!" Nick shouted as I left the apartment. I didn't stop for him, I just kept
walking. He must have started running, because he caught up to me.
"Ash, please talk to me." He said.
"No, I'm just too pissed off now."
"But I wasn't the one who hurt you, so please talk to me."
"All right." I sat down in the hall, so did Nick. "I loved him, I thought he loved me too."
"He probably still does."
"If he loved me, why didn't he tell me about her? I thought he knows me."
"I don't know. I can't tell you that answer, you have to talk to him about that."
"I can't talk to him now, I'm still way too mad."
"You don't have to talk to him now, just sometime soon." We sat there in silence for a while.
"I thought we would be together forever, but now I'm not that sure."
"Don't talk like that. Ashley, you are a forgiving person. You two will be back together sooner or later."
"That sounds nice, but why would I take him back. He really hurt me."
"I don't know, just give it time." We still were in the hall, because I really didn't want to go back into the apartment. I had to wait for Jenny and Brooke.
~Chapter 6~
"Kev, what the hell were you thinking?" asked Brooke, "I haven't known Ashley for that long, but I know she really loved you."
"I guess I wasn't." Kevin answered.
"That's for sure."
"Now what are you going to do?" asked Brian.
"I got to talk to her."
"That's a plan, but when are you going to talk to her.
"I think that you should wait a few days. I really don't think she wants to talk to you right now." Jenny said. "If I was her you wouldn't be able to talk to me at all. But that's just me."
Howie hasn't said anything since Kevin started talking. He just sat there with a blank look on his face.
"Howie, Earth to Howie." Jenny said waving her hand in front of his face.
"What? Oh sorry." He said coming back from space, "I was thinking of how Ashley is handling all of this. I hope Nick caught up to her."
"He probably did. They have been friends for years." Brooke added in. Kevin had his face in his hands.
"Well, we should find Ashley and go home. Have fun Kev." Jenny said after she kissed Howie good-bye. When I saw Brooke and Jenny walking down the hall Nick and I got up. Brooke gave me a hug because she saw the look on my face.
"Bye Nick. I'll talk to you later. Thanks." I said to him as we walked out of the building. The car ride was quiet, I really didn't feel like talking about what happened.
~Chapter 7~
It was a week after we went to the club and everything after that. Almost everyday I heard a message on the machine from Kevin. Everyday it was the same thing. He would say he was sorry for what happened, and then he said how much he loves me, and misses me. I was starting to talk to him more if you could call it talking. The most I said to him was hi or is Nick here. I missed him too, and I would sometimes wonder to myself why I was still mad a him. I never found a answer to that question. I wanted to take Kevin back, but I never did.
"I can't believe the guys leave in 3 hours for Europe." Jenny said.
"I know 3 months is a long time to not see them." Brooke said.
"Actually, we will see them next month." I told them, "Their Paris concert is going to be on pay per view."
"Yeah, but we still don't get to be with them." Brooke added.
"Let's not get so depressed yet, we're taking them to the airport in an hour." Jenny said. That must have been the longest hour for all of us. We had to split up into two cars. Jenny took Howie, Brian, and Kevin, while Brooke took me, AJ and Nick. At the airport their plane was ready for boarding 15 minutes after we got there. Before they got on the plane we said good-bye. I gave all the guys a hug, except for Kevin. I just said bye to him.
~Chapter 8~
"Ashley get over here!" Jenny shouted at me.
"Why?" I asked.
"The concert is starting." Brooke added.
"Hold on, it's not like I haven't seen them perform." I said as I walked over to the couch. We watched the concert in silence most of the time.
It was almost the end of the concert when Kevin started talking. I figured they were going to do "I'll Never Break Your Heart", but instead of saying what he usually did before they started singing he said,
"This is for the most wonderful person in my life. I know I really messed things up a while ago, but I just want you to know that I still love you and I haven't stopped loving you either." I knew that he was talking to me.
They sang "Back To Your Heart." When they finished, I was practically crying when I looked at Jenny and Brooke. They were smiling at me.
"You guys knew he was going to do that didn't you?" I asked them. Jenny answered, "Yeah, Howie told me last night. I had to make sure that you were watching."
Brooke got up and walked to the kitchen. She opened a drawer and pulled out an envelope. She tossed it to me, and I opened it. When I saw what was in there I let out a little shout.
~Chapter 9~
"No way! You didn't!" I shouted. In the envelope there was 3 airplane tickets for
Germany.
"Yeah, we did." Jenny said. "After what Howie told me and Brooke talked to AJ we thought it would be nice if you two saw each other." Their next stop on tour was Germany.
"Oh my god you guys are the best." I told them and gave them a hug.
"We know." Jenny said.
I didn't bother reading the ticket and asked, "When do we leave?"
"The flight is for tomorrow afternoon." Brooke answered.
"How are we meeting the guys?"
"AJ, Howie, Jenny and I have something planed." We all went to bed, but I don't think any of us got much sleep.
~Chapter 10~
We left our apartment at around 2:00 in the afternoon. The plane took off around 3:00. I slept like the whole time, I don't know what Brooke and Jenny did during the flight. We landed at around 11:00 am Florida time 7:00 p.m. Germany time. AJ and Howie had a limo pick us up and drive us to the hotel. The guys were still on the road when we got to the hotel.
"Ummm, I'm here to pick up a key my boyfriend left for me." Jenny said when we got to the front desk.
"Could I have your see some form of ID please." The lady behind the desk asked. Jenny gave the woman her driver's license. She handed Jenny a key and told us to go to the 4 floor. We got in the elevator and went to the room.
"Who's room is this?" I asked as Jenny opened the door.
"This is Howie's room. Kevin's is attached to it." She said pointing to the door. The phone rang. Brooke answered it.
"Hi AJ. Yeah were all here. Ok you'll be here in 15 minutes. All right see you soon. Bye." I opened the door joining the two rooms, but I stayed with Jenny and Brooke for the 15 minutes we waited.
"Ok see you guys in a few minutes. I'll come over here once I fix things with Kevin." I said as I went into Kevin's room, and closed the separating door. I was only in there for a few minutes when the door opened. I didn't say anything, I just waited for him to see me.
"Wow. Hi." He said as he looked at me.
"Hi." I said as I walked over to him.
"Ash, I'm really sorry about everything, I just..."
I put my arms around his neck and cut him off by saying, "Kevin, shut up." I kissed him we stayed there for a while.
"It's not all your fault. I was acting like a kid, and I over reacted.
"I'm sorry."
"It's ok."
"I love you." I told him.
"I love you too." We kissed again.
"Come on, I have to say hi to the rest of the guys." I said, pulling him out of the room. Brian was across the hall, and Nick was in his room. Kevin just opened the door quietly. Of course Nick and Brian were playing Nintendo.
"God Nick you suck at this game." I said to him. He got up and gave me a hug.
"Hey Ash, what you doin here?" Nick asked.
"I saw you guys, and I have the best friends in the world."
"Ahhh, now I see." I remembered that Brian never said hi.
"Hey Rok." I said to Brian who was still playing. He finally got off the floor, and said hi to me.
"Oh yeah sorry." He said as he stood up.
The four of us went over to AJ room and found Brooke there. She said hi to everyone. And I said hi to AJ.
"Ash, how is everything?" She asked.
"Oh, just great." I said. Then Kevin gave me another kiss, and realized that Jenny is still waiting. "Ahhh! Jenny." I shouted running out of the room.
"God, it's about time." She said when I opened the door.
"Sorry, I've been a little busy."
"With what?" Then Kevin walked into the room.
"Now I see. So are you two together again?"
"Yeah, I think so." Kevin said sounding unsure.
"No, you know we are." I said.
We stayed in Howie's room and cought up with each other, and talked. Brooke, Jenny, and I spent a week with them. It was the best week of my life. Kevin and I had things back to normal by the time we left. Even thought seeing them made me realize I had to wait another month to see them again, I was glad that the 3 of us went.
