Missing You
~Chapter 1~
It was a beautiful warm night and I, Faith Thomson, was not working or out with my friends. I just didn't feel like being out. I decided to just stay home and relax for a change. That really was a change too.
I had a good job at the moment working at a cafe and also going to college on the side. I
wasn't in a 4 year college, but I was in a two year one. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do
with my life but all I knew was that I didn't want to be stuck in a small dorm room with
some weird girl for 4 years. I had other reasons as well. If I wasn't working I would be
out partying with my friends. I would usually go out with my friends, Kelly and Angie and we would have a blast. I live in Orlando Florida right now. I've lived here for about a
year. I'm originally from Wisconsin along with my two friends. We grew up together and we just couldn't separate from each other without dying so we moved here like we said we would during high school. We are all 20.
So there I was sitting on my butt watching some TV. I haven't done that in such a long time and it was really nice. Kelly and Angie were at some college party or something. They thought I was sick when I said I didn't want to go. I was the one who would drag them out of their apartment (they live together) and take them somewhere.
I got up to see if there was any food, but to my luck there wasn't. I was really hungry so I went to the store that was about 5 minutes away. When I got there I started grabbing whatever I was hungry for and I was going pretty fast because I didn't really want to be there. I then paid for everything and started walking to my car, a yellow mustang, and put it in the back seat.
"Hey stranger." Someone whispered from right behind me. I hadn't heard that voice in such a long time. I could hardly recognize it. I turned around to see my boyfriend AJ.
"Oh my god hi! You never told me you were coming home!" I said surprised.
"Yeah well I wanted it to be a surprise. The tour ended 2 days ago and now I have 2
months off." he answered.
Did I mention that he's from the Backstreet Boys? Yeah well he is but I never really think
of him that way so I forgot to tell you.
"Oh that is so cool. I've missed you. Where are the others?"
"They went home. I was going over to your place when I saw your car......So how have you been?" He asked softly.
"Fine. Even better now that you're here." He finally leaned down and kissed me. It's been 4 months since I've seen him.
"Well I'll meet you back at my place?" I said
"Yeah sure." he answered. We both got into our cars and started towards my apartment.
~Chapter 2~
*Next day*
"Hey girl you missed some party last night." Kelly said as her and her boyfriend Kevin walked into my apartment.
"Yeah well there'll be more." I answered.
"Hey AJ." she said.
"Hey." he answered.
Kelly was about to shut the door when Angie yelled,
"Hey! You're gonna close it on me!"
"Woops! Sorry!" she said with an evil grin.
"Sure you are." Angie made her way inside with Howie coming in after her. This was our usual little group when the guys where home. I sometimes got to see Brian and Nick but not that much. I'm not really sure why though.
Well now is the time to tell you about my lovely two friends I guess.
Kelly is a good friend to me. She has an interesting sense of humor which just makes me laugh. She tries to be funny at times which her jokes are so corny that you just have to laugh at them. Kelly tends to take things more seriously than Angie and I. I don't take that many things seriously though. I have to find something funny about a serious situation. I don't know why. It tends to annoy people but I can't help it.
Angie is also a good friend. I've been friends with her the longest. She seems to laugh at a lot of stupid things. When ever you here her laugh you just have to. It's one of the contagious laughs. She's fun to party with. I?m wild but not as wild as she can be at times.
"Hey isn't your birthday coming up Faith?" Kevin asked as he sat down in a chair across
the room from me.
"Yeah in 3 days and it's on your birthday too!" I answered.
"Oh yeah that's right!" he said.
"So what are we going to do to celebrate?" AJ asked.
"Well since I am turning 21 I would like to go to a club and have a few drinks." I said.
Everyone agreed to that so I was pretty happy. It's not like I haven't gone drinking before but I just wanted to go and have some fun and not worry about getting caught or anything like that. Not that I have ever worried, but you know what I mean.
~Chapter 3~
We all met up at my favorite club and even Brian and Nick came since it was Kevin's birthday as well. It was really fun. We all were on the dance floor most of the time and we were just having blast.
"Hey AJ where's Faith?" Kelly asked looking a little worried.
"I don't know I haven't seen her in awhile." he answered. "I'll go look."
"Give me another one." I said to the bartender. I saw AJ making his way towards me.
"Hey! How's it goin?" I said as I picked up my drink.
"Hey where have you been?" he asked.
"Right here. You know what? This is really good!" I said pointing to the glass I was
holding.
"What is it?"
"I have no clue but they are really good."
"Ok......Faith how many have you had?"
I had to think about that. "Umm......5?"
"What else have you had?"
"Let me see.............3 beers.........and 3 mud slides, and 8 shots of tequila......I think...I'm not very good with numbers you know."
"Ok I think we should take you home."
"No! Why would I want to go home? I'm having fun! And who are you? You look very familiar but I just don't know...........oh are you that Chris guy from Nsync? Yes you are! You are so stupid! God I hate you. Excuse me I would like to go talk to some people who are cool." I walked towards where everyone else were sitting. Well I didn't really walk actually I was kind of tripping over my feet. "Hey guys. How's it goin?"
"Hey are you all right?" Brian asked.
"Yes of course I am." I answered sitting down next to him. I had just noticed how cute
he really is. Chris came and sat down next to us and I was getting irritated with him following me. Who does he think he is?
"Chris will you please leave? No one likes you. You are very gay. Go sing with your gay friends or something." I said.
"Umm what is she talking about?" Kelly whispered to AJ.
"She thinks I'm Chris from Nsync. She's had one to many drinks tonight." AJ answered.
I returned my attention to Brian trying to ignore the fact the Chris was still there.
"So Brian you don't have a girlfriend now do you?" I asked.
"No I don't." he answered.
"Well how about you and I get together?"
"Umm...I don't think so Faith. You have a boyfriend. You know, AJ."
"Well we don't have to tell him."
"I think he would already know since he is sitting right there." he said pointing at Chris.
"I am not dating that loser! I hate him! Where is AJ anyway? He's out flirting with some
girl isn't he?" I saw that Chris was getting a little mad. Awe too bad. Not. I got up to go look for AJ.
"Oh no....This isn't going to be good now is it?" Angie asked.
"Out flirting with some girl?" AJ said. "Is that what she thinks I do?"
"AJ don't mind her she gets really mouthy when she is drunk. But sometimes it's nice cause she speaks the truth and you can get a lot out of her and she never remembers in the morning that she said anything." said Kelly, then quickly added, "But that doesn't mean that she really thinks that you are always flirting with other women."
I searched around the dance floor for AJ and finally found him dancing really close with another women.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I yelled.
"What? Who are you?" he asked.
"What do you mean who are you? I think you should know! We've been dating for a
year!"
"You ass hole!" yelled the girl. She slapped him and walked away.
"Look I have no clue who you are and if you would excuse me I am going to fix things
with my girlfriend!" Before he left Howie ran over and apologized to the young man.
"I am so sorry. She is really out of it." he said.
Howie brought me back to the table where everyone else was and then they forced me to go outside.
"Come on move it we're going." Nick said. As we were walking to our cars Chris still kept following us and trying to talk to me but I kept on yelling at him.
"Chris will you please go away?! You are like a lost puppy! You keep following me!"
"Faith that is AJ you idiot!" yelled Kelly.
"Kelly how many drinks have you had I think I would know my own boyfriend if I saw him."
Kelly pushed me into her car and her and Chris took me home. She was being a really crazy driver. The whole car felt like it was spinning. It was not really fun.
"Kelly will you please slow down?" I begged.
"Faith I am only doing 30!" she said annoyed. Kelly and I got to my apartment where she gave me a glass of water and some aspirin.
"What do I need this for?" I asked. "And why is the room spinning? It's never done that before."
"Just take it you will thank me in the morning." I took it then passed out on the couch.
~Chapter 4~
"Oh my god what happened?" I groaned when I woke up the next morning.
"Hey look she lives!" Angie exclaimed.
I looked around the room and saw that Kelly, Angie, Howie, and AJ were there. AJ didn't look too happy though. I didn't really care at the moment because I felt like crap.
"Please don't yell. My head feels like it's going to explode."
"I wasn't yelling." she said.
"That's still too loud!" I said. "And what happened?"
"You had too much to drink last night." Howie finally answered.
He was starting to say something else when I jumped up and ran into the bathroom and lost whatever I ate the night before. I came back out and laid back down on the couch.
"Are you ok?" asked Howie.
"Oh my god never let me drink that much again." I said.
"I'm sure you don't want to know what you were doing last night." said Kelly.
"I'm sure I don't but tell me anyway."
"Well it's not really that bad but you thought AJ was Chris from Nsync and you kept on yelling at him because you thought that he was following us everywhere. And then you went to look for AJ....well whoever you were looking for and yelled at some really good looking guy that he's been cheating on you and his real girlfriend slapped him and left and you were also hitting on Brian and you made AJ mad."
I just groaned and hid my face in the couch. I saw AJ's face before and he really looked mad
"There's more." Angie added. "Kelly told me about this."
"Oh no what now?" I asked. I kind of remembered some of the stuff I did but there were a few spots that were blury.
"Well you know how you are really mouthy when you get drunk?" Kelly asked.
"Yeah." I answered.
"Well on the ride home you sat there saying some interesting things about AJ."
"Oh no." I said. I couldn't look at AJ anymore I didn't really want to either because I
know he was glaring at me. I could feel his eyes burning into me.
"Yeah well I'm not going to repeat it because it was pretty bad....for him......I just don't want to say it because I can't keep a straight face when I say it." Right after that AJ got up and left. I would have followed him but I had the worst headache.
"I'm screwed aren't I?" I asked.
"Well.....not really........." Howie answered.
"Naw he probably knows you didn't mean it." Angie chimed in.
"And if he doesn't?" I asked.
"Well then you are screwed." said Kelly.
"Next question." I said. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Well we wanted to see how you were. You know how bad your hangover was." answered Kelly.
"Yeah well I've had worse."
