~Chapter 5~ *Next Day* I went over to AJ's to talk to him since he never came back yesterday.  I rang the doorbell and waited for him to answer it. "Hi."  he said when he opened the door. "Hey can I talk to you?" "Yeah sure."  We both walked into the living groom. "So......I wanted to talk to you about the other night."  I said.  "I don't remember what I said but I know I didn?t mean it because I would never say anything to hurt you."  "Yeah I know.  I just got mad because you were saying all these things and then I began to think that you really meant them." I hugged him.  "No I didn't.' "So are you feeling better?"  he asked. "Yeah.  I'm not going to drink for awhile though.  I don't think my head can take it." ---------- *One week later* "Let's go shopping."  Kelly said. "Oh all right."  I said. Kelly and Angie were over and we couldn't decide what to do.  The guys had some press conference or something to do.  So we had to think of something on our own. We piled into my car and drove down to the mall.  The place was huge and took us about 3 hours to get through the whole thing. We were their for about an hour and we bought a lot of things already. "Hey Faith look over there."  Angie said. "Ok......Angie what am I looking at?"  I asked. "That guy that is staring at us."  she answered. "Oh my god.  It's Eric."  I said. "Yeah.  Great I wonder why he's here."  Kelly said.  She didn't like him that much.  I could never really figure out why though. Eric started walking over to us. "Hey Faith."  he said. "Hey what are you doing here?"  I asked. "Well I came to see you and I was going to go over to your place and surprise you tomorrow but...."  he trailed off. Eric is a friend from back home in Wisconsin.  I hadn't seen him since I moved.  I didn't really want to see him either.  He's actually my ex-boyfriend.  When I moved here we broke up because I knew that long distance relationships just don?t work. Eric, Kelly, Angie, and I talked for awhile.  I found it ocward to be talking to him.  I found out that he was going to be here for a week. It was getting late so we parted ways and went home.  But before we left, Eric and I made plans to hang out tomorrow.  Not that I really wanted to but I thought I would give him a chance. "Are you really going to see Eric tomorrow?"  asked Kelly when we got back to my apartment. "Yeah I guess so."  I answered.  "But I don't want AJ to know about it." "Why not?"  Angie asked. "Well you know how jelouse he gets!  And if he finds out that Eric is my ex he'll really get jelouse." ---------- The next day Eric and I spent the day together just like old times.  He got a call saying that his sister is really sick so he had to fly back that night.  He drove me home and we both stood outside talking for awhile.  I started to feel more comfortable around him which was good.  I didn't have any more feelings for him and that was even better.  I just thought of him as a good friend. "Well it was really nice seeing you again."  he said. "Yeah it was nice seeing you too." Then he kissed me.  I quickly pulled away. "I'm sorry."  he said.  "I know you have a boyfriend but..................Well I have to get going.  Maybe I'll see you when you come back home."  He got into his car and left. I stood outside for awhile.  I saw someone walking down the street.  When he got closer I saw that it was AJ.  He looked pretty mad. "Who was that?"  he asked angrily. "Who was who?" "Don't play dumb with me Faith!  I saw you kiss him!" ~Chapter 6~ "AJ I can explain."  I said quickly. "Faith I trusted you how could you do this to me?"  He seemed more hurt than mad now. "AJ please just listen to me." "No.  I know what I saw.  Why?  All I have to say is why?" "AJ I haven't been cheating on you!" "I can't believe that.  Bye Faith."  he walked away without looking back.  I kept calling him and begging him to stop.  But he kept going. "Damn you Eric!"  I said out loud.  "You just had to do that!" ---------- I sat on the couch curled up for who knows how long.  I had been crying for awhile now.  I didn't know how I was going to fix this or if I even could. "Hello how was your day out with Eric?"  Angie asked as she barged in the door.  She actually came without Kelly and that was a surprise.  When she saw that I was crying she stopped.  "Hey what's wrong?"  She came over and sat down next to me while I started to explain. ---------- *A week later* "Last call for flight 186 to Milwaukee Wisconsin." "Well I guess he's not coming."  I sadly said. "What is up with him?  He knows the whole story!  He is so stubborn!"  Brian said. "Yeah I know."  Nick agreed. All the guys and Kelly, and Angie came to see me off.  Well except for AJ.  Everyone told him that I was innocent but he still wouldn't believe it.  He wouldn't return my calls or anything.  The last time I called him I left a message begging him to come to the airport before I left.  He didn't show. "Well I'm going to go.  I don't want to miss my flight."  I said.  I hugged them all and said goodbye and went on the plane.  I had begged Kelly and Angie to come back home with me but they didn't want to since the guys were there.  I had to go back because my brother Brandon was getting married. I was very sad that AJ didn't come.  I was almost in tears but I kept my head high and tried to make myself feel better.  I slept the whole way back to Milwaukee. ~Chapter 7~ "Hey there how are you?"  Brandon asked when I got off the plane. "Oh just fine.  How are you?"  I asked giving him a hug. "I'm doing great!  There are some people here to see you." I looked over his shoulder and saw my friends, Chloe and Leah.  Kelly, Angie, and I tried to get them to move down to Florida as well but they just didn't want to be that far away from home.  I hardly ever talked to them because of long-distance so I had really missed them. "Hey you guys how are you?!"  I asked running over to them and giving them a big hug. "Oh we're fine."  Chloe answered. "How have you been?"  asked Leah. "Oh I've been better but I'll tell you about it later." We all went to baggage claim and got my stuff. "Hey where are mom and dad?"  I asked Brandon on the way home. "Oh they had to do something about the wedding."  he said. The four of us drove on talking and catching up on things.  Brandon dropped all of us off at my parents house and left.  We let ourselves in and we made our way to my old room. Everything was the same.  Just really empty since I took most of my stuff with me.  There was only a bed and a dresser in there and they weren't mine because I took mine with me. "So spill it girl I know you've been dating what's is name?  How old?  What does he look like?  And is he cute?"  Chloe asked. "Ok I don't want to talk about that right now.'  I said.  "And I know you wouldn't even believe me." "Oh come on we'll believe you."  Leah said. I walked down the stairs trying to avoid the subject.  I went and sat down at the kitchen table. "Faith!  Tell us now!"  Chloe demanded. I caved in.  I knew they weren't going to leave me alone about it so I started talking. "His name is AJ, he's 21, and yes he is very cute."  I said.  "But I'm not exactly dating him anymore because Eric came down and we spent the day together and when he dropped me off he kissed me and AJ saw." "Uh oh."  Leah said.  "Hey so that's why Eric was so happy when he came home." "Yeah well he recked everything."  I mumbled. ~Chapter 8~ *3 days later* It was the day after the wedding.  It was a beautiful one too.  His bride to be Stacy was very pretty in her wedding dress.  The reception was a lot of fun.  I got to see a lot of people that I hadn't gotten to see in a long time. I was still very miserable without AJ.  I tried calling him a few times and he didn't answer once.  I called Brian to see what was up but all he told me was that it was the same since I left. I went over to Chloe's for the day since I didn't have anything to do.  We just sat there and talked.  There wasn't a dull moment the whole time.  We had a lot to talk about.  Most of the time she talked about the Backstreet Boys concert she went to and how close she was to them.  I kept quiet about knowing them.  I tried very hard not to laugh because she was saying some pretty funny things.  I just wanted to go 'I know them!  I know them!' But I didn't.  She wouldn't have believed me any ways. "Hey isn't your boyfriends name AJ?"  she asked. "Well he isn't exactly my boyfriend anymore."  I said sadly. "Wouldn't it be cool if it was AJ of the Backstreet Boys?  Don't you wish you could have gone to one of their concerts?  I was closer to them than you were!  Haha!" ~Shows how little you know Chloe~  I thought.  I smiled a tiny bit. "Hey why don't we call Angie and Kelly for awhile?  I really miss them."  she said. I dialed the number and Angie picked up. "Hello?"  Angie said. "Hey."  I said. "Oh hey how's it going?" "Ok I guess.  Have you heard anything about AJ?"  I asked. "No.  Faith he left we don't know where he went.  He hasn't been home all night.  I think he left during the day yesterday.  His mom doesn't even know where he is.  She's the one who brought it to our attention." "Wow I wonder where he could be.  Well Chloe wants to talk to you so here she is."  I handed the phone to Chloe and she went in the other room so she could talk.
