"So what are we doing tonight?" Jamie asked after AJ and Olivia left.
"Well I got these tickets to the circus and I thought that might be kinda cool. I mean we don't have to go but, you know." Kevin answered.
"We get one night alone and you want to go to the circus?"
"Well like I said we don't have to go."
"Fine let's go. Nothing like going to a circus with the one you love." Of course Jamie really didn't want to go and she was hoping he was kidding but when he pulled out the tickets she knew he wasn't. She was scared that a twenty-eight year old man would want to go to a circus rather than be alone with his girlfriend.

"Can I open my eyes yet?" Olivia asked.
"No it's just a little bit further." AJ answered.
He kept hold of both of Olivia's hands and lead her through a path in the woods. They walked a little further and came to a big clearing. There was a pond in the center and there was a full moon that lit the whole area.
"Ok just a little further.....Ok open them."
Olivia opened her eyes and looked around.
"Wow this is cool. How did you find this place?"
"I come here when I just want to be alone. You know those times when you can't find me. No one knows I come out here. Only you."
"It's beautiful out here. Look at all the stars." she layed down on the soft grass to look at them all. AJ joined her and they stayed out there for a long time just talking about things they've never shared with anyone before.

"Never again will I go to a circus." Jamie scowled while storming into her house. Kevin was close behind her and almost got the door slammed in his face.
"It happens all the time. It was just an accident Jamie really it was."
"A little kid puking on me and an elephant leaving me a present is not what I call fun! I just wanted to have a nice evening with my boyfriend and he wants to go to a circus? Why did you want to go there in the first palce?!"
"I just though it we could go somewhere different."
"Different isn't one of the words that come to mind. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to
try and get the vomit out of my hair, and the stench of elephant dung off of me." She
started to walk upstairs.
"Jamie I-." Kevin tried to say.
"I don't want to hear it."
"But-."
"Hush!" She closed the bathroom door.
~Chapter 46~
Jamie took her sweet little time in the bathroom, and half hour shower, and dried her hair,
which takes at least 15 minutes. She changed into her pajamas and went downstairs,
thinking that Kevin had left. Was she wrong.
"Wow." She said looking around the living room. There were candles lit everywhere.
Kevin came out of the kitchen with 2 glasses of wine, and handed one to Jamie.
"Now this is what a night with your boyfriend is supposed to be." Jamie said wrapping
her arms around Kevin's neck.
"So does this make up for the circus incident?" He asked.
"No....But it's a start." she replied.
"Well at least it's something."

*Three Days Before Christmas*
Jamie, Olivia, and the guys got together at Kevin's place to open presents since that was the last night everyone was going to be in the same state. Kevin was taking Jamie to Kentucky with him for Christmas to meet the family. Brian was going home as well he was most likely to spend Christmas with them as well. As for the others, they were all staying in Florida but going to see their parents. Olivia was accompanying AJ to his mom's house.
So everything went like it was supposed to go when you open presents. Well Nick had Olivia and he gave her an interesting present.
"Nick what is this?" Olivia asked shaking her head.
"What do you think it is. It's not hard to figure it out. It's round and it plays music." Nick replied.
"I know that Nick but why did you get me an Nsync CD? You my dear are weird" Olivia wasn't all that fond of Nsync and it wasn't because they were rivals of the BSB it was because there lyrics sucked along with everything else.
"I'm just playin' here's your real gift." said Nick handing Olivia a smaller gift. She opened it and it was a silver necklace with a little penguin on it.
"It's cute thank you." said Olivia putting it on.
"Hey Nick are you putting your move on my girlfriend?" AJ asked.
"Nah man I would never do that.....In front of you."
Olivia laughed while AJ just shook his head and gave him a face like he would pound him if he did. Not that Nick thought he would.
"All right who's next!" Nick said trying to get away from AJ as soon as possible.
"Hey Jamie." Olivia said trying to see what she got. "What did you get."
"A shirt that says Goddess on it from Brian. Remember when I was a Goddess? I guess I still am."
"Hardly Jamie. You never were a Goddess I'm sorry but no."
"Denial, you're just in denial. So what did you get?"
"A penguin necklace, and an N'Sync CD."
"Ah, a new Frisbee for the dogs."
*The Next Day*
"Ok, I have an hour to pack. Can I do it?" Jamie asked.
"No." Olivia replied.
"Thanks for the support."
"That's what I'm here for."
*1 Hour Later*
"Hey." Kevin said giving Jamie a kiss.
"Hey." She replied.
"Ready to go?"
"Almost."
"Do you have enough stuff?"
"No. Ok, I'm ready." Jamie grabbed her stuff and headed downstairs with Kevin.
"So did you finally deiced on an outfit?" Olivia asked.
"Yeah, the skirt with the top." Jamie answered.
"Oh that one."
"Let's go." Brian said.
"Bye Liv. Have a Merry Christmas." Jamie said.
"You too, bye."
Kevin and Brian finally got Jamie out the door and it was just Olivia and her dogs. It was strange for Olivia to be all by herself at home. She never was. Well not more than about an hour. She was new to the silence on a Saturday afternoon when there were people running in and out of the house. She thought she would enjoy the quiet and sit down and watch some tv. Well that only lasted for 10 minutes. AJ came running in the door making Olivia jump at the sudden intrusion. He shut the door sat down in the chair across from her. With this "Oh my god." expression on his face.
"What?" Olivia asked.
"I got mobbed at the mall. I mean it was worse than it's ever been. They pretty much trampled me over, ripped some of my clothing off and finally a security gard decided that he would help me and then I ran out the back door of a store. Well my car was on the opposite side I came out. Luckily no one saw me when I was trying to get there."
Olivia tried not to laugh. The look on his face was priceless.
"They didn't rip off your clothes."
"Yes they did. My jacket is gone, I'm missing a shoe," AJ got up and turned around to show her his back. "and the practicaly ripped of my shirt. My sunglasses are gone too."
"Yeah I thought you looked a little strange. I mean I don't think I would be able to recognize you without them."
"You aren't going to give me any simpathy are you?"
Olivia got up and sat next to AJ.
"Well I usually give it all to Jamie but...ok. You poor baby is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"
AJ sighed. "No just being with you makes me feel better."
"You're so sweet."
"I know."
So Christmas came and went, and it was finally New Year's. AJ and Kevin were going with Liv and Jamie to see their parents.
"Are your brothers going to be there?" AJ asked with a scared look on his face.
"Yes, and don't worry, we'll protect you from those mean boys." Olivia said.
"And you won't leave us alone with them right?" Kevin said.
"Alone, ha like you're ever going to be alone in that house." Jamie said as the cab pulled up to her parent's house. They got their stuff, and walked to the door. Jamie rang the doorbell and walked right in.
"Hello?" Jamie said. A dog ran up to the 4 of them. "Hey puppy, how are you?" She began to pet the dog.
"Liv, how's my little girl?" Olivia's mom, Jane, said giving her a hug.
"Hi mom. How are you?"
"Good, who's this?"
"Mom, this is AJ, AJ this is my mom."
"Hi." AJ said.
"Didn't we meet down in Orlando?" Jane asked.
"Yeah, when the girls were moving in."
“Oh that’s right…..Are you two dating?”
“Yes mom I told you that already.” said Olivia.
“Well I was just making sure. Oh yes now I remember the boys were telling me about him and his friend.”
“All good things I hope.” Kevin said.
“Oh mom you remember Kevin right?” Olivia said.
“It’s nice to see you again Mrs. Whitman.”
“Oh call me Jane. Better yet you boys can just call me mom that’s what everyone else calls me around here.”
“Speaking of mom where’s mine?” Jamie asked.
“Right here.” Megan, Jamie’s mom answered from behind her.
“Hey mom how are you?” Jamie asked giving her a big hug.
“I’m good how are you?”
“I’m great. It’s nice to be home.”
“Hi Mrs. Newman.” AJ said.
“Oh quit with the Mrs. stuff and just call me mom as well.”
“Liv we can just take your stuff out to my car so it will be out of the way.” Jane said.
AJ and Olivia picked up their stuff and went outside to put their stuff in the Blazer and quickly ran back inside. It was far too cold to stay outside for very long.
~Chapter 47~
~Later That Afternoon~
“Liv, before you guys go,” Jamie said, “we should take these guys sledding.”
“Ok, but we only have an hour and a half.” So Jamie, Kevin, AJ, Olivia went out in back.
“The key to this is steering.” Jamie said as she dropped the sleds. She sat in the front of the sled. “Come on.” Kevin sat behind her.
“I think I’m going to like this.” He said as he sat down.
“Hold on.” The two of them went down the hill and almost hit a tree. Olivia and AJ followed them down, but made it farther down.
“Oh, looks like we win.” AJ said.
“Um, not really see those trees out there?” Jamie said pointing to 3 trees about 20 feet in front of there.
“Yeah.”
“Well, that’s how far Jamie and I got a long time ago.” Olivia said. They kept sledding for about a half-hour.
“Let’s go in, I’m really cold.” Kevin said.
“Yeah, I second that.” AJ said.
“These guys are pathetic.” Olivia said to Jamie, but also said it loud enough so Kevin and AJ could hear.
“Did you hear something?” Kevin asked AJ.
“I heard something but I’m not quite sure what it was.” AJ answered.
Kevin bent down and picked up some snow. “I think it came from behind us.” After he said that he threw a snowball and it his Olivia in the shoulder.
“Oh you did not just do that.” Olivia said. She picked up some snow and threw it at him but it hit AJ in the head. She tried to keep from laughing but it wouldn’t work.
“It’s on now!” he said and he attacked Olivia pushing her into a mound of snow. Before she fell all the way she grabbed Jamie’s arm and she went along with them and the girls smacked their heads a chunk of ice.
“Ow!!!” Olivia and Jamie screamed.
“Oh my god I am so sorry.” AJ said to Olivia and helped her up. Kevin helped Jamie up and the girls stood there for a minute rubbing the back of their heads.
“Well that felt good.” Jamie said sarcastically.
“Oh my god are you ok?” AJ asked looking at Olivia who was laughing and crying at the same time.
“Yes I’m fine.” She assured him.
“Are you sure?” he asked.
“Yeah she’s fine. She did the same thing when she almost broke her nose….I’m ok too by the way thank you for asking.” Said Jamie.
“I’m sorry.” AJ said. “Are you ok too?”
“Yeah, I think so.” She tired to stand on her own, but once she stood up she fell again. “Or not.”
“Bone, what are you trying to do, kill my girlfriend?” Kevin said helping Jamie up.
“No it was an accident I swear.” He said.
“Is it a problem that there is something warm running down my neck?” Olivia said. She looked at her hand, and noticed blood on it.
“Liv, we have to get you inside.” Jamie said. AJ helped her up, and they started to walk inside.
“I hope that your brothers aren’t here.” AJ said.
“I hope they’re here, Rob’s an EMT.” Olivia said.
“What?”
“Yeah, I never told you. Jamie’s dad a doctor too, so we’ll have all the medical help we need.” Jaime opened the door and they all walked in.
“Dad, we have a bit of a problem here.” Jamie said.
“What is it?” He asked getting off the couch.
“Olivia and I hit a tree out there, and we landed on a stump. Now her heads bleeding.”
“It’s called steering.” Rob said getting off one of the chairs. “Normally you do that so you don’t run into anything.”
“Thank you Professor Genius I’ll think of that next time.” Olivia said rolling her eyes. Jamie’s dad looked at the back of Olivia’s head.
“Well it doesn’t look deep. You should be ok.” He said.
“Come on I’ll help you get cleaned up.” Jane said leading her into the bathroom. Everyone went back to watching TV, leaving Kevin, AJ, and Jamie in the kitchen.
“I’m ok too everyone! Don’t get worried about me now!” Jamie yelled to the two families.
“Are you ok Jamie?” Megan asked.
“Yes thank you mom.”
“You saved my ass and I thank you for it.” AJ said softly to Jamie so no one else would hear.
“No problem but you really owe me one now.”
“Yeah I know.”
After about five minutes Olivia and her mom walked out of the bathroom.
“She’s as good as new.” Jane said and went into the living room to join the others.
“Are you ok now?” AJ asked feeling really bad.
“Who are you? Where am I? Who am I?” She asked with a blank face.
“That really isn’t funny.” He said.
“Yes it is.” Jamie said laughing.
Olivia smiled and kissed AJ on the cheek. “I’m fine. But I have this massive head ache.”
"All right, we should go." Jane said. "We'll see you back here on Friday." They all said
goodbye, and Olivia, her family, and AJ left.
~Chapter 48~
~Friday (New Year's Eve)~
"Can someone get that?" Megan said when the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it, you guys don't move." Jamie said to her dad, Ethan and Kevin who were not
going to move. When she opened the door, a girl was standing at the door.
"Melissa, I missed you." Jamie said hugging her.
"Hey, I didn't know you were in town." She said coming inside.
"Ethan didn't tell you after I asked him to?"
"Nope." Melissa said hi to everyone. “And who might this be?" She asked noticing Kevin.
"This is Kevin my boyfriend. Kevin this is Melissa Ethan's girlfriend." Jamie and Melissa
sat down in the kitchen with Megan to talk while the guys bonded.
"So how was your Christmas?" Jamie asked.
"Great, Ethan got me the greatest present." Melissa answered.
"Really what?" Melissa stuck out her hand to reveal a diamond ring. "Ethan proposed
and he didn't tell me?"
"Yep, on Christmas. It was the best thing ever."
“I’m going to have to have a little chat with him later.”
The doorbell rang again and Jamie jumped up to get it.
“Hi everyone’s inside come on in.” she said to Olivia’s parents.
“Happy New years.” Jane said and they went to join one of the two groups of people that had formed. She was about to close the door when someone stopped it. She turned around to see Rob with his wife Carrie and their daughter Christy.
“Hey guys come on in.” she said moving out of the way so they could get through.
“Colin and Stacy are here too they just pulled in.” said Rob.
Within a half hour AJ and Olivia had finally decided to show up and it was a full house once again.
“Christy how’s my little niece?!!” Olivia said happily while giving her a hug.
Christy didn’t say anything but just stood there and stared at AJ.
“You’re another Backstreet Boy.” She said.
“Yes I am. And you must be Christy.” AJ said.
After about 10 minutes she got over the fact that there were two Backstreet Boys in the house. Well except for her asking them to sign everything in sight. But hey they were used to it.
“You know you wouldn’t really think you would miss this huh.” Olivia said to Jamie that night while they were watching everything joke around.
“Yeah I know we left to get away from this. I didn’t think I would miss it at all.”
“You ever think about moving back?”
“Sometimes, but I remember why we left, there is nothing here.”
“Except them.” She was referring to their families.
“Ok, you two are only here for what 3 days and all you are doing is talking to each other, I don’t think so.” Carrie said when she and Stacy came over to talk to them.
