What was THE EXPERIENCE? it was a rock band formed by Jimi Hendrix. the band members included Mitch Mitchell, and Noel Redding. and later on Billy Cox. the best sounding trio in the history of Rock-N-Roll. some say not. but think about what Hendrix did in his four short years. he changed the sound of Rock-N-Roll as we know it today. and I'm glad he did because Hendrix is ROCK-N-ROLL!.

What is purple haze?

it's the name of a song. I always thought Jimi was singing about LSD-25 (purple barrel acid). that's NOT the case. from what I read Purple haze is about a dream Jimi had. and he named the song about the dream.
