"... this track, from which the
Shaggy
number one UK hit (1992/1993) was substantially sampled, was cut at Prince
Buster's first ever recording session at RJR studios in Kingston."
The story goes that Prince Buster
was the first to bring Count Ossie and his group [with Rico Rodriguez]
into the studio. He thus created a new sound on record with much influence
for the roots music of the 1970s.
